A professional gimbal at a really affordable price!
The media could not be loaded. This is an amazing gimbal. I own a video production business and I have usedstabilizing gimbals for over 25 years. I have not used one that is this precise and comfortable to use. I have various cameras that I can easily connect to this Gimbal. Some of the issues with many electronic gimbals I have used have been the motor quality, challenge setting up and the battery life. First, the Weebill S is so easy to setup, especially with the locking arms. Just take it one step at a time. If you are using the same camera, the included quick release makes it so easy to connect your camera and get recording quickly - which is often needed in various recording situations. Another issue I have seen in other brands has been the motor quality. The Weebill S allows me to use my camera with large lens without any problems at all! I often need to record smooth walking and moving shots in lower light, so I need to use larger lenses. This is NO problem with the Weebill S.Concerning battery life, the included 18650 batteries are great quality. I have used many 18650 batteries in some Nitecore Flashlights that I own, and I feel these batteries included with the Weebill S are even better quality that the Nitecore batteries. I am completely impressed with how long the battery life is on this gimbal. This was a surprise considering how powerful and smooth the motors are - even with a larger camera and lens. With other gimbals the motors seem to struggle with heavier cameras and lenses which was always a serious problem. If the shots are not smooth, they can't be used. With the new motor design on the Weebill S, every shot that I need has been smooth. In some recording settings, we only have "one take" and it is vital to get the shot correct the first time. This is the first gimbal that I have used that I have total confidence in - especially with my larger camera setup. Now with all of technology, there is always a learning curve. Yet I have found the learning curve of the Weebill S to be very minimal. One of my favorite features on the Weebill S is the locking arms of the gimbal. This is very convenient for portability and run and gun recording situations. As mentioned earlier, calibrating or balancing this Weebill S is a breeze. Once you do it once or twice, it becomes so easy to do. Just take your time and follow the instructions. You will quickly see how easy it actually is. If anyone complains about balancing this gimbal, they most likely are not following the instructions properly or they think that they don't need to read the instructions to figure it out. There are many other features of the Weebill S that I could go on and on about. For example, the removable and adjustable handle that allows me to hold this with both hands, high in the air, or low to the ground. One shot I needed was following a dog near the ground as a child with a disability was helping train the dog. With other gimbals, this shot would not have been possible. Thanks to the Weebill S, I was able to get just the right shot, and right the first time! I also really appreciate the location of the back arm and motor behind the camera that is tilted slightly back and lower enough for me to better see the camera screen. This is a wonderful adjustment over other gimbals. In conclusion, it is refreshing to have a company such as Zhiyun that offers affordable high quality professional video equipment. I do a lot of video work for non-profit ministries, and strive to give them affordable yet professional video services. Zhiyun has helped me be able to provide these services by developing high quality and professional video equipment that is much less than other brands - while I believe at the same time being actually better quality.

A very good handheld gimbal
This is my first handheld gimbal that I've owned myself. I'm used other different gimbal brands such as DJI and Movi on professional shoots before. My company has the original DJI Ronin. I haven't felt the need for a one handed gimbal such as the Zhiyun Tech Weebill-S, but after using a friend's DJI Ronin-S it has changed my mind about them. The freedom to use smaller cameras such as mirrorless cameras and the simplicity of setup was eye changing. I needed a gimbal setup for a small commercial job filming at a construction site. I didn't want to have a lot of camera gear with me since we would be moving fast. It took me only a few hours to figure out how to balance the Weebill-S with a Sony A7Riii. I love the quick release plate since it allowed me to take the camera on and off the gimbal without having the change the balance. I balanced it once and never needed to change it again. I heard the motors on the Weebill-S are stronger than the Crane and although I've never used the Crane, I don't doubt that they are strong. Shooting in a variety of lighting conditions I was able to put on and off a variable ND filter and change focal lens on my zoom lens directly on the gimbal without the need to rebalance. The motors didn't need to be auto-tuned either which amazed me.The other major benefit this gimbal gave me was the ability to go from underslung mode to upright mode in a matter of seconds. I did have to unscrew the bottom tripod handle each time I wanted to go to underslug mode, but it wasn't that much of a hinderance. I've since purchased the quick release adapter that Zhiyun makes to make this process quicker.Battery life on this gimbal was outstanding. It lasted for at least 6 hours with about half power. I charged batteries at lunch time. Switching to the various shooting modes was very easy and flawless. I did have trouble getting it into underslug mode a few times, but I chalk it up to more of my inexperience with the various modes than the system itself. Once I figured it out, it was super easy to switch back and forth.I have not tried to wireless transmission unit yet. I felt like it was something I wouldn't use since the battery lasts only about an hour and half. I have no need at the time to wirless monitor the camera feed, although I like the implementation of mounting the unit under the camera system. All in all I'm happy with the Weebill-S. It's priced well for a gimbal like this and it's built very well. Oh and the locking mechanisms on each axis makes it so easy to transport and setup. It's something I never had on my original DJI Ronin and you wonder why they didn't think about that feature from the beginning.
