Desktop Tape Dispenser Adhesive Roll Holder (Fits 1" & 3" Core) with Weighted Nonskid Base Green

I was completely convinced that I didn't need this. When I wanted to start crafting with sublimation projects I needed to invest in an Epson SureColor, sublimation paper, sub ink, an HTV heat press, pressing pads, butcher paper, gloves, etc ... Anyway, the cost was getting WAY up there considering that I have the attention span of a ferret and have only completed like two crafting projects EVER. So, when it came to the tape holder I decided "nah, HERE is where I will save some money, how hard can it be to just use the tape without a dispenser?!" HAHAHAHA, it's near impossible, just so you know. Flash forward to humbled me opening my Amazon box to this little tape buddy. It's weighted perfectly, it doesn't slide around when you are trying to tape stuff. The cutter is sharp and works perfectly. The spool is the perfect size for standard heat tape. And, it's ridiculously easy to load with tape and to use. 5 stars for a necessary (seriously it is) and well-made product!!

The dispenser itself, is as one would expect; nicely weighted and easy to use. However, the center core is just smaller than the 3 inch tape I have for it. Actually that is not unusual, believe it or not. The quick fix is to just wrap a couple times around the core with some masking tape and it will hold the tape much better!

This is a great tape dispenser that will hold both 1" and 3" reels of tape. I was very impressed with the weight as you don't have to worry about it sliding across a desk when you get down to the end of the reel of tape. You also don't have to worry about losing the 1" adapter as it slides into the 3" wheel and will always be part of the dispenser. Of course you'll have to store the 3" adapter when using 1" tape, but this is a very well-made tape dispenser.

The dispenser feels solid and weighty; however, it arrived sealed in plastic but covered in a dusty film. I was unable remove all of the dust from the bottom. I am using it with blue painter's tape which was easy to install. The tape is too strong and the dispenser moves when you pull on the tape. Potentially the dispenser is moving because of the dust residue. I added rubber dots to the bottom and that solved the problem.
