Worked like a charm for 1998 Subaru Legacy Outback
Replaced original Keyfob for 1998 Subaru Legacy Outback. Lost original fob and had problem where opening door with key would still set off the alarm. This would eventually drain the battery if not noticed right away. Got tired of the 5x Key to On rotations to reset and lower alarm button did not always work either. After searching all over forums and such, I decided to buy this one and it worked! Hope it does for you too. :)

Does not work for 1998 Subaru Legacy GT LTD
This device does not work as a replacement for 1998 Subaru Legacy GT LTD. Having verified that the existing keyfob that does work is a GOH-M24 and that I am following the correct procedures as I can reprorgram to use the existing keyfob, the remote entry will not reprogram to accept this key. Further to get refund you must pay return shipping even though it was full-filled by Amazon.DO NOT BUY.You can see my other reviews. I am not writing a negative review because I am trying to bolster a competitor etc. I review a lot of things. Please trust me on this. This is NOT a valid replacement for the GOH-M24 for a 1998 Subaru Legacy GT LTD.

Works great with 1999 Forester
Was easy to bind and works great with my 1999 Forester. Range is impressive and it's small but feels solid. My only complaint, it's a small one, is that the buttons are not the same as the picture. In the pic I posted, it has a triangle for lock and a circle for unlock. Overall 5 out of 5

Works
Buttons aren't the best as you don't click an unlock or block button rather just the top or middle button. The other two buttons do nothing. But it still works if you program it correctly and for $20 I can't really argue with that. 1998 forester.
