Perfect stretch!
I made quite a few bracelets with semiprecious stone beads and this string. They stretch quite well and have held up quite well so far. I had to tie quite a few knots to keep it from untying, but a dab of glue probably would work well, too.

This is really thick. It fit through the bead, but no room to tie it off.Don't know how well it will wear.

This elastic is great for jewelry. I made beaded anklets using 6-9mm beads. The cord is very sturdy, strong, and feels like I won't have to worry about my creations breaking or stretching. Buy this cord. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
