Kmise keyboard piano (71 Key Piano)

This has been a vey fun to learn, and it has beautiful sound! I really love the quality of the instrument, and the case as well.

This kit came complete with a beautiful case, the instrument, an instruction booklet, a tuning hammer, and a pick-up. (for amplification) It's a comprehensive kit that has everything you need. This is my portable-gotta- make- music- no -matter- where-I-am splurge. It's a real instrument and not a toy. Have some fun and get one. The only downside is I need tougher thumbs (or better technique) but I'm sure as I continue, that will come to pass.

This set comes with everything needed to get started with a kalimba. I downloaded a free tuner app and easily tuned all of the keys with the included hammer. There is even a cut out spot for the hammer in the case which makes it much easier to keep track of. As this is my first kalimba I don't have another to compare it to, but the sound is nice for playing around the house and learning what I am doing.The two things that set the Kmise set apart are the grey fabric case (which I greatly prefer to a shiny black case) and the fact that the notes are engraved on the keys. I didn't have to spend any time carefully placing stickers on the kalimba when I first bought it or worry about the notes peeling off over time. Additionally, the engraved notes just look much better than any sticker set that comes with a kalimba.Overall, I would recommend this kalimba set to anyone looking to get started with a easy to learn and fun instrument.

Update. I just plugged the pickup that I had not attached yet and moved it around while playing and the best place to stick it was top, center, back. And I used the 2 velcro pieces right under the pickup which I wrapped inside the velcro piece twice to give the pickup support. It sounds ok. Slightly more basey than without the pickup. THEN I went to put it in it's case with the pickup on the back of the kalimba...and no...it no longer fit the way it is supposed to go into the case. So I have to put the back with the pickup and the female jack in the hole meant for the tines and now the tines get shoved into the hammer compartment. It's tight but it works. I hope it is not going to damage the structure that the tines are sitting on over time. But it is very annoying to me that they don't design things correctly...and I used common sense to install the pickup but it would have been good to have an explanation. For the money though it is a nice little setup even though I only have 16 notes to play!It sounds pretty good However the E3 has no sound at all. There are no instructions on how to attach the pickup. And no instructions as to why you put the colored stickers anywhere. Not sure what the dots mean or the numbers...could somebody tell me where to place the pickup on the kalimba so that it will sound correct???

I bought this item for my partner who is a professional music producer. He has a weird ability to play any instrument and this one was no different. He enjoys having a instrument that can provide another unique sound to the appropriate sound

I have been wanting to try Kalimba, but did not want to spend a lot. This was a gift that I had to pick out myself, and after a lot of reviews and searching, I settled on the Kmise Kalimba.Right out of the box I was impressed by what I saw and heard. I don't play yet, but do play other instruments, and the sound of this Kalimba is beautiful. I tried my chromatic tuner on it, and was pleasantly surprised that it was in tune with only minor tweaking needed to fine tune it. The included hammer makes that a lot easier. I have not tried the included pickup yet, but foresee no problems to this nice add on. (You can use this pickup on other things to create original sounds)! So far so good, and I am happy I chose this Kalimba!

I got this as a Christmas Gift and had to test it out before wrapping. Well made and very relaxing to play.

Hugh Tracy is a professional kalimba that I normally use. I got this one for a student and I'm returning it. It just goes out of tune too often. This one had such nice potential but stay away from it it breaks constantly.

Es un instrumento fácil de usar, viene un poco desafinado pero luego de prepararlo es magnífico, muy recomendado.

Im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Kalimba Sets ist hier ein Hardcase Hülle statt eines einfachen Säckchens enthalten, weshalb ich mich für diese entschied. Die Ware wurde schnell verschickt und kam auch schnell an. Leider hatte zunächst der Stimmhammer im Set gefehlt, aber der Verkäufer hat wiederum schnell geantwortet und erneut ein Set zugeschickt, welches dann einen Hammer enthielt.Ich hab sie als Geschenk für meinen Freund gekauft und er ist sehr zufrieden damit.Den Vermutungen von einigen anderen Bewertungen, dass eventuell gebrauchte oder vielleicht auch Retoure Ware verkauft wird, muss ich aber leider zustimmen.Beim ersten Paket war der Reißverschluss vom Hardcase bereits geöffnet und wie erwähnt hatte der Hammer gefehlt, beim zweiten Set hatte die Kalimba Kratzspuren und Fingerabdrücke auf den Tasten/Lamellen. Ist zwar nicht so geil, habe aber alles desinfiziert und die Kalimba funktioniert trotzdem einwandfrei. Ein Hinweis oder etwas mehr Sorgsamkeit wäre ganz nett gewesen.Für den Preis und den Service kann ich sonst nicht meckern.

So it’s been a few months now and I just wanted to take the time to right a review. This was the best value for the money Kalimba I’ve owned. The case is perfect and the accessories are very much appreciated. If you think the keys are out of tune they could just be bent strange or tapped in too far or shallow. The sound is not overpowering and completely attention calling. But it’s such beautiful resonance. It feels so innate to play and if you want to learn a somg quick, try the midi covers of songs on YouTube and go with one of the chord progressions or mix it up. It really is just fun and you don’t have to worry about being a beginner. This was affordable too so that’s a huge plus! The craftsmanship is superb. Thank you so much! I love it

I never write reviews but had to do it for this lovely instrument. I bought one for myself (to learn) and one for a gift. Was extremely happy with my purchase for both. I have used mine for several weeks and was able to pick it up and learn very quickly. Beautiful sound. Easy to tune. And it was a great value for a gift, coming with a terrific hard case, tuning hammer, booklet, stickers for labelling and cleaning cloth. I did my research and this is definitely the best value kalimba available on the internet.
