DanskinWomen's Ultrasoft Microfiber Footed Tights

These are the best tights ever. The fit is perfect for me. I am 5'5", 117 pounds, and I purchased size B. The Hue brand tights were constantly falling down, so I was always pulling them up. When Hue tights would "fall," they would create the dreaded "muffin top," even though the elastic wasn't tight. I think this was due to cheap elastic in addition to not having a true back or front. On the other hand, Danskin tights are fitted properly (that is with a "true" back side that has a tag) and are made with high quality elastic. Hence, they stay up without binding the waist and without "muffin top." Regarding the material they are very soft and feel nice on the inside as well as to the touch on the outside. The material is durable as well. I bought black and light toast. They look pretty so go well with skirts and dresses of any length, as well as underneath pants for chilly days. The icing on the cake is that they are made in the USA.

I’m sure the tights are great, but the systems size chart is useless, so having to order again based on the packages size chart. Hope this is helpful to others!

I bought one of these (in black) and a pair of white Hanes, to see if there was difference in quality between the brands, rather than stock up on a bunch of colors in one brand. I'm very glad I did this, because the Hanes were complete garbage (and that's where they ended up the first night I wore them!) and these were what I was looking for.The black ones are nice and thick, so they don't look sheer and they actually cover the legs and any blemishes and hair. They also feel very soft and sleek.The fit was a big plus, too. The Hanes tights I bought were ridiculously tight around the thighs- these Danskin tights actually compensate for normal women and the fact most women's thighs are bigger than their calves. Additionally, the band on the top is flexible and sewn in the seam well, so it doesn't cut into the skin around the stomach or leave a huge, red line like some tights do.Some tights, the top band tends to roll down or needs to constantly be pulled up. I didn't encounter that with these. There is a small amount of fussing around the ankles and calves, because I am short and have short legs, and these are too long (this is where I docked), so they will bunch up down there a bit. However, at least with the black ones, it's not noticeable since they stretch so well all over that the color doesn't thin out very much when it stretches.These seem fairly durable, overall. No runs yet after more than 10 wears, and no worries about tossing them in the washing machine.I only wish they had colors or varieties of gray.I recall getting these very promptly, as well. I will definitely be getting different shades!

I think these tights were always for meant dancing, skating or other athletic activities. They make a good running tight but you have to wear something over them because they're see through. I bought them to wear under other running tights or a skirt for cold weather runs and I love them. With temps. in the low 40's I can wear just these tights and an athletic skirt or skort over them and be very comfortable. They're like a warm second skin. I do long runs and I'm always trying to dress as light as possible and I'm glad I found these. I wish they came in nude.

I am not sure why people buy opaque black tights at a pharmacy or a dept store and then desperately try to get as many wearings out of them as possible before they ladder. Thankfully I did musical theater in high school, and was introduced to dance tights from an early age. I have never had a pair of dance tights ladder on me at work or at a wedding. These are twice as expensive as pharmacy brands, and cost about as much as a pair would cost in a dept store. But, they last for a year! At least. Amazing. Just hand wash them in cold water and hang to dry.

I'm the sort of person who immediately tears through pantyhose (generally as I'm first trying to put them on). While I can go without in the summer, often something is required in the late fall through early spring, and while tights are great with some outfits, others not so much.But I had a brainwave, remembering from my ballet days (OK, I was six) that Danskin tights were pretty sheer but also pretty sturdy. I bought a couple of pairs, and they're perfect! They fit amazingly well: I'm 5'9"/160, and size D stays up without being at all binding around my waist. I wear them to work for 9+ hours and they are comfortable all day.I wash them in a lingerie bag in the washing machine and hang to dry. So far, no tears or runs, and only a few tiny snags (still wearable) from when I forgot a pair was in the load and threw it into the washer without the lingerie bag. I just bought more to hoard, in case Danskin starts messing with the sizes.

Ordered a pair of the white tights for a Lolita coord. I'm 5'1", 145lb and ordered a size D. I have a pear shaped body with hips and a butt and usually have to size up in shorts, skirts and tights because of it. The tights were a little snug around my hips, thighs and stomach but not uncomfortable. They are slightly see through. If you have bruises or freckles you will be able to see them. If I was any heavier than I am now, I wouldn't be able to fit them.

I wanted some tights to wear under a dress that would be a little more sheer than thick tights. These are perfect, and are comfortable! I bought size C (I am 5'9" and 125 lbs.)

I thought they were going to be a lot thicker and more opaque, I found mine to be much more transparent than I like, but I suppose I can always double them up. I put them on once and there's a snag line, I dont remember it catching onto anything so it might've been a defect from the factory.

Someone recommended these and I wear them as a layering piece for winter. The dark shade is not as dark for black people so you can wear black sheer pantyhose if you'd like to wear it out

Smooth and soft. Ordered a size larger than I normally do and love them.
