Just what I needed!
This hose was the perfect replacement for my Lady Lux Cafe originally installed in May of 2007. It's been a dependable and durable kitchen faucet. But the hose went Valhalla last month and I needed to replace it.A simple job for any homeowner to do, especially thanks to the handy tips I found in the reviews section. One such tip was to remove the new collar from the new hose and use the one from your old hose. Here are the other tips I copied and pasted that made the job a breeze for me:1. Remove old hose completely2. Remove the quick-connect fitted (if you have one) to be used on new hose3. Slide the long spring off the old hose being very careful not to get it tangled up. (All it has to do is touch itself and it will be tangled!) Keep it straight.4. Removed collar from new hose5. Slide old collar onto new hose (the one that comes with it may not fit your sprayer)6. Feed new hose into your goose-neck fixture7. Slide the spring onto new hose under the sink8. Replace the quick-connect fitting (with new washer)while holding the spring in place9. Reconnect to water suppy10. Reconnect Sprayer (with new washer)

Good value. I wish Grohe would provide better installation tips for the Concetto style faucet
Okay so I figured I'd write a review here to help provide some installation tips, especially if you have a Grohe Concetto style faucet. It does seem that these hoses fail often given the number of these that are selling, so that in itself is a disappointment. Luckily this one is much cheaper than the actual Grohe replacement (which comes with parts you don't need, such as the weight, and costs 3x as much). If you have a Concetto, you're going to need to save the plastic fitting that attaches to the spray handle, as that does not come with this hose. It's not hard to save, just make sure you don't damage while you are removing the old hose. The biggest challenge with this ultimately is getting the new hose threaded through the fixture - to remove the old one, you just remove the weight, remove the fitting on the underside (that attaches to the faucet inlet below the sink, save this one), and pull it out. In the case of the Concetto faucet, due to the 90 degree angle of the fixture, I had to actually cut the end off the old hose to pull it out without yanking (not a good sign I thought). Next, make sure the faucet is pointed straight, find a cord, then thread it through from the bottom (I used a 3' piece of coax cable). Then, take the plastic screw on fitting you saved when you removed the sprayer and old hose, put on the new hose, and push it all the way to the end where the sprayer will attach. Next, take your cord and push it down inside the bottom of the new hose, then wrap it tightly with electrical tape. I also applied some petroleum jelly, as it should help it pull through the fixture. Next, from underneath the sink, pull the cord gently (you may need to wiggle) until you can freely pull the new hose down through the fixture. Screw on the fitting you saved, reconnect to the bottom of the faucet, put the weight back on and then re-attach the sprayer and you should be good. I thought it was funny that Grohe had instructions for how to do all this, but of course it's with a long sweep fixture, not a 90 degree one such as the Concetto; the former is a much easier process, as the hose just pushes right through. In my case, I ended up removing the whole faucet so I could take it down to my work shop to figure out a way to get the new hose in, but I don't think that is really necessary if you follow these steps!
