I purchased this scale over a month ago, after much research. I use it primarily for baking. As far as features, there is nothing special, it does what most other digital scales do, except for the added feature of "Holding" the last weight in case you need it. The primary reason for my choice was the fact that Beurer is a reputable german company that has been around for a long time. Although I was disappointed when I saw that the scale was actually made in China, I decided it to test it out for 4 weeks before returning it. I have been very satisfied so far, except for the fact that it does not measure the weight of anything less than 5 grams. Objects must be 5 grams or higher for the scale to begin to display the weight accurately, and only AFTER the first 5 grams that it goes by 1 gram increment. So, when baking, I am not able to weigh 2 grams of yeast or 4 grams of salt. But, what I do is put a small glass bowl that weighs about 20-30 grams, then start adding yeast or salt, and get very accurate weights in 1 gram increment. So, I decided to keep this scale, and frankly I was not able to find anything better. Most of the other equivalent models don't have the reliability I am looking for, and the reviews indicate that they stop working after a few weeks to months. I am relying on this Beurer's german engineering, and so far so good. (Although it would be nice for the website description to mention that it is made in China).

I really like the design and feel of this scale. It feels well built and is simple enough to enjoy using it every time.I had a glass scale of another brand before but it was too small and often inaccurate; this one, however, is just better in every way: it's large enough, mostly accurate (sometime I get the reading off by 1g but not a big deal for me) and just looks awesome. Most of the times I don't even notice the numbers show in a display, it feels like they just magically appear in the glass.It's usually hard to find this kind of product: solid build quality, simple, impressive design, easy to use, and fairly priced. I paid about $27 for this, not super cheap but I wasn't looking for a cheap scale anyway. I think it's definitively worth it.

I have a small kitchen and this is the only scale I could find that would work for both measuring a few grams of coffee beans to bread ingredients well over 1 kilogram. I'm overall happy with it: a clean design, high accuracy and a generous size plate for larger bowl bases.The tare function is however not dependable for lighter weights. My hand coffee grinder weighs about 450 grams. When I set it to tare to add 12 grams of beans, it often stays on zero. Instead I add the beans to the grinder weight. It's tough to do math before coffee, but at least the weight of the beans is just right.

This Beurer scale fits my needs perfectly. I ordered, and returned, another product because it did not have a "Hold" function. This one does and it works great for weighing oversized items. The accuracy seems great too. I checked the two scales against one another and they were both right on the expected weights. This one does not start weighing items until about 5 grams, but if you put a dish on it (don't tare it) and add items I find it accurate to a gram. This is a great upgrade to the 10 year old scale I had.

I’ve never had an interest in kitchen scales but after using my moms own I just had to get one for myself. I liked the one she had but I wanted something bigger. I found this one and it’s a pretty decent size, it holds a lot of weight on it and the best thing about this is this hold feature. My mom’s own didn’t have it so I was blown away when I used it. If I cant see the actual weight of the ingredient I just tap the button and move the ingredient and the weight is still on the screen! Amazing! I love it!

This scale has the same problem as at least one of the ones I have previously returned. All of a sudden the numbers start jumping all over the place. I tried replacing the batteries, but that didn’t help. So I am returning yet another scale and will probably order another one. I will try a different brand.

I really liked the design of the product, how simple and easy is to handle. The stainless steel is easy to clean and the display is bright enough to see from far. The hold function is pretty useful if you want to weigh something and you want the result so stay on the display for a while. I do recommend the product, I had bought some other Beurer products in the past and I can affirm this one fits to all our needs. My wife simply loves it!!!!

This kitchen scale is very user friendly! Easy to operate, read and clean with a large surface and numerals.
