Keeps hose from blocking skimmer
For the longest time, I’ve had the problem of the vacuum hose forming a dam at the skimmer when it gets sucked up against the skimmer. These weights weigh down the hose enough so this is no longer a problem. Doesn’t affect the use of the vacuum. Easy to hook to the hose. Perfect. Wish I had discovered this years ago.

About the right weight for our pool cleaner
They work ok, but tend to slide up and down the hose. So sometimes the pool cleaner gets pulled onto its side.

Not much to say, just that they are cheaper than the ones in the pool shop and fits a barracuda tube

Fit the hose well and a good price...
....but seemed a little lighter than I expected. I have not seen the OEM version but I think they are probably heavier
