Synthetic oil is great
Great for use on valves. Comes in lighter to heavier mixtures. Also has rotor oil and slide oil mixtures. It lasts longer and has better results than the conventional oil. Do not mix with conventional valve oil, it will cause sticky valves. Must clean horn before using the first time.Well, worth converting to. Most new horns come with this synthetic mixture.

Works good
Been using Hetman for quite some time. Know there are many other manufacturers but staying with this. It lubricates valves well.

the best oil anywhwere.
I've been using Hetman #1 for years and it is simply the best most reliable valve oil out there. I play professionally and everybody in the section uses it which makes it easier when you run out. One note of caution however...If you have a newer horn (within 10 years old), make sure you use the #1. Hetman makes other viscosity's that are for for older instruments and student models where the valve tolerances are not that great, i.e. it's thicker and the #2 and 3 will gum up a new horn.

Excellent quality.
Great synthetic oil which has the advantage of being compatible with non synthetic oils too. That means that if you switch to Hetmans you do not need to wash the valves previously. I am used to Ultra Pure and will continue to use this brand, but I have nothing other than good things to say about this oil.

New Bottles are HORRIBLE
*ORDER 3RD PARTY 2OZ SQUEEZE BOTTLES*The valve oil is perfect; no complaints (in fact, I won't use anything else), however Hetman's new bottles are garbage.Hetman valve oil used to be packaged in oval shaped bottles that never leaked on me in ~10 years of use. Both of the two new (circular) bottles I've bought have leaked constantly if not stored upright.I can't give any more stars to a valve oil that cant stay in the stock bottle, which is a shame as the product itself is awesome.

Best valve lubricant I've used.
Best valve lubricant I've used. I've used valve oils for years. Application after application to keep the valves from sticking. One application of Herman 1 and I'm done for a while.

Yep, this works
This absolutely breathed new life into my schilke B5. Take notes: you need a thinner valve oil for instruments built with as little tolerance as a Schilke.I did also use this on a concert benge and it worked just as well! I still love blue juice, but there isn't another valve oil that will come near the schilke.
