They can be cut into four nice sized strips to place on a large band aid to cover a wound with medicine. And the thickness of these is the best I've ever used. Very glad I came across these. Lifesaver post-surgery! Used these as a barrier between by incision and my medical compression bra after surgery. Of course, the bra laid right over my incision and caused irritation and pain without it. Since these were sterile, I would place them over my incision so the bra wouldn't lay directly on it while to help while it was healing. Worked amazing!
