You would need to use dry sand rather than wet unless you want to be putting it in with a teaspoon. The hole on this model is actually underneath where the bag attaches, so you'll have to take it apart if you want to change it. The bag is held up by tensioned springs, I thought that was brilliant when I first unpacked and saw this. It's a great way to absorb the shock and quiet way too. No clinky chains to rattle loudly so people around you will appreciate the quietness.Overall I'm happy with the purchase, I think you will be too.

Putting it together wasn't hard. But if you decide to use sand instead of water for the base it's gonna take awhile. I tried using my funnel for sand but it would only clog. After switching methods it got messy and took longer than I would have liked. I did not want to use water though because others said they had leaking problems. OTHER than that annoyance the bag is Good. Been using it for over a month now and it hasn't punched me back so cant complain.

Easy to assemble, I would suggest using sand to weigh down the base. A 50lbs bag is about $4 at Home Depot. The suction cups at the bottom don't withstand hard strikes well. Punches good, not that great for kicking.

My son enjoys very much. It is sturdy enough and can be moved around.

Great bag. It's helped me keep my kicks and punches strong until I can get back into the dojo. It takes a while to fill the base with sand but it's worth it for the stability. This was an early xmas gift and I love it. :)

My teenage son has anger issues and I bought this for him to let his emotions out. There is carpet in his room and it sticks only to a hard wood floor, but even on carpet, filled with water, it works great. Thanks!

I just received my boxing bag & base, each & every time I look at the boxing bag I try not to be like a kid at Christmas, excitement creeps up on me, I am now awaiting the actual stand so I can get the process started, This is my 1st boxing bag, nothing more, hoping for the best".

Got for my birthday. Easy to put together. Sturdy, well built, and as described. Great workout equipment to add to my gym.
