I was really nervous about ordering this due to the damage from shipping listed in some of the reviews. But they must have listened. The unit was packed really well, with form fitting cardboard surround. Unit arrived in excellent shape. I love the sturdiness and quality of the unit. Slide drawers are smooth and effortless to open. If you order the Durham drawers to go inside of it be sure to order the large, as that is what this unit takes, not the small.

Worked great

I have 2 of these and four for the smaller (13-3/8" Width x 2" Height x 9-1/4") scoop style cases. This product is designed for the Durham 18" Width x 3" Height x 12" Depth style scoop cases and make accessing everything kept within them easily accessible and organized. I use a label maker to label the ends of all my scoop boxes, and this device allows me to access them without having to unstack each one to get to another. Plus, it allows for the lids of the scoop boxes to be opened and the scoop box left on the rack self.There are holes in the top and bottom of these to allow them to be bolted together, and holes in the back to allow them to be bolted to the wall. This way they can be stacked up and secured to a wall or bolted to the top of a workbench.The paint is the same as the boxes and has the same quality and durability one can expect from Durham. Mine came shipped in a large cardboard box with thick cardboard completely surrounding the item within. Some have reported that theirs arrived damaged but the two I have received have been flawless.I feel while the price seems high, I don't think it is unreasonable. The quality of the slides is excellent. The design overall is well thought out and works perfectly for what it is designed for. I plan to order more and hope to one day have a whole wall of these things to organize all of my spare parts. If I had one complaint it would be that the top edge of the shelves could be rounded over, but that is not a deal breaker in my opinion. Excellent overall product.

Good heavy duty build, the top middle was damaged in transport. Not worth sending back. Drawer slides not damaged. I can live with the dent. JR

Just received this and be aware that the description state WITH 5 large boxes but does not include them, this is the cabinet ONLY!! Shipping speed was accurate and quality is as expected.

As many others have noted, these units and the boxes that fill them are NOT PACKED SUFFICIENTLY TO AVOID DAMAGE!! I love the utility of these. I love the price. I love that they are made in America by a company that's been around for a long time and makes cool stuff. But I don't love that 4 out of 5 of the metal boxes that go in it, and the slide rack itself, arrived with dings/dents. More secure packaging would mean the cost would go up, so I get it, Durham doesn't want to step up the caliber of their shipping materials. But it's sad so much of their wares arrive dinged and dented. This unit arrived today. The dents don't impair the function, so I'm going to live with it, but in a perfect world...a new item would arrive... looking new.

Great quality, but it’s just too pricey for what you get. This should be a fifty dollar item.

I love that this version has ball bearing slides. My old one didn’t. These work great for organizing small parts.
