Its definitely just how it looks in the picture
Its a good jute lace/rope and qorks well. Just like other jute ropes, sealing the edges is tricky but works well with fabric glue. Is hairy but that works well for me.

Good product
I did not like the colour of the product compared to what was shown online. I have used it for bottle decorations so ultimately I will have to paint it to make it look cream/golden in colour but in reality it has a very ugly colour. But I guess when i finish it it may give a better look without painting....who knows.
