Installing the new bearings and seal was not difficult in itself, provided you understand the need to disassemble your washer completely just to get to them. That being said, once I did all the prep work I would need to do, (i.e. the cleaning) installing the new parts was a snap. Before you tackle this project, take plenty of photos during the disassembly process and find a good YouTube video to walk you though it.

This simple, inexpensive kit worked perfectly. My Frigidaire ltf2140es1 is probably 17 years old, but has served me well (except for a new door switch). It was making a racket when it went into the spin cycle, and I could feel that the tub was loose and rotating poorly. I bought this bearing kit, and went to work. It probably took about 2 hours to remove everything and then tap the old bearings out. They were toast! Gritty, covered in gunk, and lots of play. It probably took slightly less than 2 hours to put everything back together. The results were great. I was amazed at how quietly my washer now runs!The kit comes with 2 sets of bearing and a new seal, which is everything needed to do the job. I did not replace the tub seals, door seals, or any other parts, and I have had no leaks. The only tip I'll pass on was something I saw on youtube. If you loop a rope or 550 cord around the suspension springs, it helps a lot to lift the springs out of the notched brackets. Getting the springs to come loose took a lot of effort. Putting them back was actually easier. Overall, its a straightforward repair, but very time consuming. Well worth if not to buy a whole new washer though.

Ignoring the necessary 7 hrs I spent with my son disassembling, cleaning and reassembling the washer. For the cost of two bearings and a seal, I could have spent 30 hrs and still been satisfied. We only needed about an hour for breakdown and pressing in the new bearings. The other 5 hrs are dedicated to removing the 15 years of buildup that allowed the bearing to stay submerged.I am not the one to complain to about not including instructions. Only while writing this review did I even think about what they would have said. I've done trailer bearings all my life, so take that with a grain of detergent.

Bought for 2005 Frigidaire/Electrolux front load washer. Worked perfectly and the washer works better now than when new because these are far better bearings than the original. It is a lot of work to install, but not complicated or difficult. The washer has to be stripped almost to the frame. Many YouTube videos show how to in detail. I did this alone, but many instructions suggest a helper to lift heavier parts. For some reason Electrolux does not even sell individual bearings and only offers the rear tub assembly complete for hundreds of dollars. Suggest you replace shock absorbers and tub gasket at the same time and take pictures as you tear town as a reference you might need on reassembly. Do not use sealant on the tub when reassembling. It will make it it possible to do this again in the future. (Assuming you keep it for another 15 years.)[edit] After 2 years of use, this bearing failed as well. The washer does receive heavy use, but I expected it to last much longer.
