Q: do the plus sizes have a single, or double seam in the back?

They have a single seam in back along middle. They are soft stretchy to a point, shiny as advertised. Again I'm 6'2 n make they are supportive that's what I primarily use them for because I'm diabetic. But I like the gloss shine too

No, they are a little thicker than regular tights. Made for a plus size person.

Q: These dont have a control top, correct?

These have a lot of lycra in them so it def feels like a control top to me.

Q: I am 5'7" and 250 lbs, which size should I get?

The largest size U can find as these run quite small. I am a size 10/12 & buy XXXL which is rediculous.
