Vetiver was recommended to me by a friend and this is the first time I’ve tried the brand Greenwood Essentials as it’s a bit of an a more unusual essential oil that other brands don’t seem to do. It seems like a good quality oil, and it is a lovely distinct fragrance.

This small sample size is a good way of discovering this amazing properties of this essential oil. Greenwood have used this small 5 ml bottle so that you can discover its properties for yourself and find out if you like it and whether it is beneficial for you. Vetiver has become very popular recently, Studies have shown its ability to help some people to feel more awake and to increase their ability to focus and remain alert. It has also been found to help to improve your breathing patterns while you sleep, increasing the quality of exhalation and decreasing inhalation which could mean that it could help people who snore heavily. It has also had anti-anxiety effects.Even on this small brown glass bottle the plastic top screws on very tightly ensuring that it doesn’t evaporate when you are not using it. It arrives with a small plastic disc stopping any of the precious contents from escaping but you can detect the aroma without removing it. It comes with a plastic dropper so that when you are ready to use it, insert the dropper and count out the drops into your carrier oil if you going to use it on the skin. I think that I will be using it for its relaxing properties and sniff it or use it in a diffuser in the bedroom. I have to remind myself to always screw the top on securely and to store it upright, otherwise the oil will evaporate or will leak out.This is exceptional value for money, the 5ml bottle is currently priced at £ 9.99. This is an excellent way of trying out this essential oil before buying the larger bottle which far more cost effective. It is so relaxing I can see it will be part of my evening routine so I will be buying the 30ml bottle soon which is currently priced at £ 24.99. The oil I received was packed in March 2021 with an expiry date of Feb 2024. I had very fast delivery.

Enjoyed this oil as it is found in many a male cologne combined with other scents usually.Found this very useful for the diffuser as it has properties that help to improve focus and alertness which is good for people with ADD. Diffusing whilst sleeping can help improve breathing patterns alsop and this even has applications to be used as pest control and resist ticks due to its high toxicity to them.On that note, it is best diluted with a carrier oil for hair, skin, scalp applications and as usual always perform a patch test or consult a professional.Next I will be adding a few drops to some wax melts I intend to make. Good stuff.

I must admit, I was expecting this Vetiver to smell more verdant and fresh.It's actually has woody notes of resin.More like squashed green sticks rather than a squashed green leaf smell.And a faint smokey note like hay burning from a distance.Still lighter than, say, Cedar which is your full-on, heavy, deep forest waft.May seem expensive but it's the pure stuff, unlike some oils you buy in a wee bottle which are nonetheless already diluted and after a while you're left with just a cooking oil smell from the carrier oil.This Vetiver is herbalicious and I dab a bit on my face mask before going out.Makes me imagine I'm walking through a dense woody green instead of Wood Green High street.I dilute it with Argan oil if I'm going to rub it directly onto my chops.Comes in a little box with a separate drip attachment in a second compartment.Recommended.

Very strong. Green and fresh, with deep woody notes. Goes great with lemon and light oils like mint. In an oil burner or humidifier it will clear out a musty smell in any room, a garage for example, or a bedroom that hasn't been used for a while. Blended with basil, eucalyptus and lemon it makes a fantastic way to freshen up a room when someone is ill. Good quality and value. A little goes a long way with this strong oil.

This stuff is amazing, it smells like all things natural and close to the ground. sort of like a leather and earthy grass smell. The depth of the fragrance is lasting and intense and as soon as you smell it you will be reminded of the great outdoors.Such a unique fragrance.

What a lovely oilIf you know what Vetiver is and what it smells of you’ll be wanting to buy this.It’s very versatile - a pure oil which I personally use in a vaporiser to infuse as an air freshener - for this it works wonderfully leaving a beautiful subtle refreshing scent which lastsThis can also be used as a scent for the body applied to the neck and wrists - or it can be used in the bath -Lovely smell lovely quality but tiny bottle - really small - and quite expensive for the size.

Oil 5 ml in a beautiful packaging box, which additionally has a plastic dispenser for more convenient dispensing. The oil itself is in a glass jar. The oil is very good for coughs and hoarse throat. At the first sign of a cold, I do medical inhalations with the addition of this oil, and it helps me very well. I advise everyone!
