The Animal, Interactive Unboxing Toy Truck with Retractable Claws and Lights and Sounds, for Kids Aged 4 and up

I purchased this unboxing truck for my grandson who is 4 years old. It was supposed to be a Christmas present, but I had seen it on sale several times and didn't act fast enough to get the sale plus it sold out a few times. Last week it was on sale and I snagged it immediately-I am SO glad I did-I had no idea how amazing this whole process is, and I hope the manufacturer makes different varieties so I can purchase more!The box comes with a key, which you insert into a lock on the side of the box. The child yells "wake up" and the monster in the truck starts shaking and making noises. it takes several times yelling "wake up" because it falls back asleep-creating incredible suspense. My grandson could not take his eyes off the box, and they were wide with amazement. After waking the monster up, the box shakes, the monster growls, and then the engine revs. When you are ready, you tell the truck to come out of the box, and it bursts out of the box and starts shaking and growling again, and rides around with every sound.My grandson is thrilled with this truck/monster and loves doing it over and over again. His mother enjoys it as well, haha!And the cost, even at $29.99, is well worth it-we've purchased other trucks that are remote control and much more expensive that haven't held his attention as well as this toy has-a total value for the money in my opinion. And the plastic is just as "sturdy" as those expensive cars we purchased! I am tempted to purchase a few more in case I have any other grandchildren or nephews to give gifts to, or to donate at Christmas because I know some little guy will be thrilled (or little girl!)

This truck is pretty awesome for the children and adults!!

This was my sons number 1 requested toy for Christmas. I read the reviews before buying it and knew some people had mixed reviews about it. He opened it on Christmas morning and was so excited. We followed the instructions and took the key out and then inserted the key which woke up the animal. We then started to yell and knock on the box to get it to come out. It took a good 60 seconds of doing this for the truck to come out on its own. It was part of the fun for my 5 year old to make a bunch of noise to get it out. Once it came out it moves around on its own. Overall my son loves it and I would recommend this to everyone. Just know that it might take awhile to get the animal out of the box.

Bought two, one each for my great nephews' birthday. The first box was opened and was really slow to activate. The batteries that came with it didn't provide enough juice to make the product work as anticipated. We changed out two batteries (only two had on-hand) and did work a little better. The second box opened worked great! A little scare at first for the boys but soon a great hit especially getting to holler and yell to make it come alive. Note: It is sensitive, so be aware if it growls or jumps at you if it hears noise. In all is a 5-star and would recommend buying it. The only reason was given 4-star was due to batteries being bad.

Omg i got this for my nephews birthday and it was sucha hit! Everyone gathered around to see the unboxing! This was such a fun interactive toy!! My nephew loves his truck! We use the box it comes in to put the truck back inside and make it go to “sleep”. Lol!

Amazing I just wish they come in different colors. This is just a perfect toy for a kid. I wanted to match something for my son because my daughter loves presents pets and the unboxing. Im so glad I found something like this for him!!!!!

Both my kids 4 and 9 saw this toy on a YouTube video and the 4 year old asked for it for his birthday. I think the fact they knew what it did helped with the excitement and experience. They both had fun with the unboxing and he played with it for an hour or two after. It’s simple enough for him to work by himself and I like that it has an option to turn the roaring off, but still have it move.Great toy!

My son (7 yrs old) was SUPER excited to purchase this. Waiting an watching EVERY Amazon truck that drove by hoping his package was on it. Once it arrived he wanted to un box it immediately; just like he’d saw on Youtube. However, to his disappointment the toy didn’t do ANYTHING. So we manually pulled it out. Went to replace the batteries, to find that 2 out of the 4 were corroded. No biggie put in new ones. The toy STILL did not work. Called Spin Masters Customer service line and must’ve gotten connect to a completely incompetent individual. Who told me they’d transfer me, but couldn’t do transfers. Would send an email but cannot send it now. And then wait 24 hrs for someone to call me back to address this. Save yourself the headache, time, and batteries all while saving your child/loved one from disappointment and DO NOT WASTE your money on this pile of crap.
