Kalamitica Steel Magnetic Chalkboard. Dimensions 74x57x0.12cm Charcoal Colour

This is exactly what I was looking for for our kitchen - found after ages searching. Very good quality, seems built to last. Easy to hang as well. The only drawback we've found so far is that when we wrote on it in chalkboard pen it wouldn't come off! After a lot of careful scrubbing (didn't want to scratch it) it's mostly gone but not quite. So now we are sticking with conventional chalk. I also bought some of the Kalamitica magnetic pots and planning to but a plant-pot as soon as lockdown will allow me to buy a plant to go in it. The board was more pricey than others I looked at but definitely worth the extra cost.

This product was received very promptly and I finally got someone to put it up just before Christmas. The black screw covers are very cheap (noted by someone else) but as I was forewarned I ordered some wee earth magnets and they finish it off nicely. However I seem to have made an mistake, I cannot get the chalk marks off the board. Obviously the instructions have gone the way of the wrapper so I will need to look into it. However it is very classy looking in the kitchen for my fridge magnets and I do like the product. Very nice looking and once I've worked out how to clean it will be more than happy.

Lovely product, works well with chalk pens. Fixings seem a bit slim for the very heavy board - if fixing to plasterboard wall or old brick, you may need something more substantial. But it looks fab on my son’s wall and he’s very happy with it.
