Holds its shape and keeps out the heat.
Excellent product, heavy built sun screen. I like the folding type sunscreen because it holds its shape and these are insulated and the heat does not bleed through. This keeps the interior of your car or truck much cooler. Cost a little more but well worth it. Ordering more for the rest of my cars and trucks. Highly recommended.

Better than the spring loaded ones
I've had nothing but the thin fabric wire rimmed type of shades for a couple years but couldn't find one to fit our little Fiat 500. Now that I have this I think I'm going to toss the spring loaded one in our SUV and get one of these to fit that. This is just 10 times easier to fold back up and secure with the buckle vs the twist/fold/stuff origami routine of those wire type. It also seems to do a better job at heat rejection, likely because of the bubble insulation layer and shiny foil top instead of just a thin gray fabric. It's also possible to trim this which we decided against because of losing the finished edge and we can get the same length reduction just by keeping the last panel on each side folded which is necessary for our tiny windshield.Don't go by any fit chart, measure your window both directions and find one that is correct in height which you can't change without cutting but the width is more forgiving, make sure you go a bit wider. A few inches wider than your actual windshield is easily adjusted between the natural accordion shape and folding in the end panels if needed.

Works but awkward fit too wide and too short
It does what it says and does block the light a 3a lot of the heat out of the car. But it is a terribly awkward fit for 2020 Toyota Corolla. It is too wide lengthwise, but also too short. I can make it fit but I can't imagine that some other car would have such an awkwardly shaped windshield.
