Although a fairly new company to a very saturated fitness market, Signature Fitness is definitely already making waves and gaining ground on its larger peers. The SF-3 Power Cage is SFs answer to Rogues Monster-Lite series and after using the Rogue ML series for a long time in gyms, I can say the transition to the SF cage at home was extremely smooth. Ill start with the negatives, since there are very few of them.First, the finish on many of the pieces had minor cosmetic blemishes, but seeing as it's going to get some good use in, I'm not too worried. There weren't any pieces that had the finish completely worn through to the steel, so I don't forsee any rust issues out of the box.Second, as many have stated, the design of the safety strap receivers can definitely be revised to utilize the fine westside spacing on the rack.Other than these two minor complaints, I take no issue with the SF-3 cage.Some positives now:First and foremost, the price is half of what you would pay for Rogues ML series and you sacrifice almost no difference in quality. After using both, if branding was not on the cage, you'd have a hard time telling the difference.Second, the customer service is FANTASTIC! When I had originally ordered my cage, Amazon had a 4-6 week turnaround time. I emailed Matt at SF and asked if it could ship out sooner. He emailed back and cut the shipping time down to two weeks. Much to my surprise, my cage showed up 3 days early. From order to door, it took a week and a half after stating it would take almost 4 times as long!Third, the J cups are the best starter j cups around. Hands down the best.Finally, any 5/8ths attachment that uses a single hole will fit this cage AND SF is expanding its line to include more attachment they have manufactured. The savings keep coming!I can continue, but overall you get the point. This is the best budget option for a 3x3 steel rack there is and SF doesnt sacrifice quality for profit. This is a solid rack that will last a long time and with the option to use the Rogue line of attachments along with REP and soon every more SF attachments, you cannot beat the long term savings you will end up having! I 100% recommend this rack to anyone looking for a quality, affordable piece of equipment for their home gym! Lets support this growing company so they can provide us with more of their quality workmanship!

This product could not be fully assembled as it was missing two of four front to back connectors. It looks like a nice sturdy product; however, I’m returning due to the inability to use based on missing parts.

I found the rack to be very simple to put together. I used a power rachet and I would advise someone else to do the same. Very, very sturdy and j hooks are nice. Mine did come with scratches to some parts. One part had extensive scratches but I still love the rack. I wish the finish was a powder coat instead of normal paint for longevity but it is a nice paint job. Overall, I can't complain. Great product for a fairly new company.

This thing showed up and when I went to put it together, it was missing two of the large supports. Amazon was sold out of the item and couldn't send a replacement. The manufacturer was not the least bit helpful, and said they couldn't get me the parts for something like 4 months! At first, Amazon's solution was to try to send me to the hardware store to get the missing parts. I was trying to tell the support person...look you don't understand. It's not missing a couple of bolts. These are the large side support bars!Eventually I got a different support person who arranged to have this pile of garbage picked up so I could buy a different rack, made by a different company.Don't waste your time. There are better and more beefy racks available for close to the same price.

Great value for the money. Good quality product. Very sturdy. I use it daily for squats, presses, pull ups, etc. Drawbacks; the j-hooks are too small. Had to order a larger pair from a different company. Also the back cross bar at the base of the rack is right where you need your feet to be when you are trying to get the weight off the rack. Needs to loop out. Lastly, it is not fun to try to put together. Day long job.

The Power Cage Rack arrived with several "level 4" scratches, bare metal exposed, on the main posts. Better packing in some key areas would have prevented these during shipping and handling.Second, one of the main post, has a vertical hole that was not punched through and can't be used, e.g. You can't use a J-Hook or a Safety Strap on those hole positions. This must have been missed during quality assurance.Rack is solid and does offer good value, although I am disappointed not been able to use the J-Hook or the Safety Strap on those hole positions, and with the bare metal paint repair that needs addressed.

I received the power cage in a crate 6 days after placing the order. It was missing one nut but had one lying around and was able to set it up within a few hours. I recommend getting a size 28 socket if you don't have one but it made the job a lot easier. The j-hooks are a little small but should be fine for squats and overhead press. I ordered bigger j-hooks from Titan fitness that fit perfectly. All in all a good rack, just wish it came in black, and am looking forward to using it for the foreseeable future.

I ordered this rack a couple months ago and when it showed up, the box was busted open and there were washers/bolts/nuts on the ground. Fast forward to today (I just moved into a house and the rack went straight to storage) I’m putting the rack together and am missing a pieces of everything so unfortunately the rack is only partially put together. Overall it seems very sturdy, but will update my review when I get the remaining parts and it’s fully assembled.

For this price, this is a no brainer. A 3x3 power rack that will do more than enough and can compare with top brands for much… much cheaper. Must buy for somone looking for a good power rack.
