I bought this headlight Tilly combo a good while ago I've been running the same set ever since it was not very expensive and it performs really well even left it up like sitting for quite a while came back to it all I had to do was charge everything up and it was good to go like I said I definitely appreciate a good value and between the price and how long it's lasted this was definitely a good value

The USB rechargeable feature is super convenient, and the battery lasts a long time even on the higher settings. I’ve used it on a few long rides, and it’s held up great. The 6 different modes are awesome too, allowing me to adjust the light intensity based on the environment. The rear light is just as bright and provides excellent visibility for others on the road.

I've been using the light for just over a year. I would bike home from work multiple nights a week, about a 10-15 minute bike ride. I'd say the battery charge only dropped about 5% after each trip, so I would only have to dismount it to charge once every couple weeks. However, one year later one day the battery suddenly discharged and went from 30% to DEAD, and had to bike home in the dark. When it was new I used to charge the battery pretty quickly, in about 45 minutes to an hour, but now it can take several hours to charge to 100% so I will charge it overnight. Also after a year of use, the battery dies much faster. On a 15 minute ride in the night, I can expect the battery to drain about 15-20% on high. That's about 1% per minute. I've started having to use the lower brightness option to get more life out of each charge at the cost of the great visibility. On a medium brightness, I can maybe get twice as much life per charge. Ideally a front light should last 12 hours per charge, about a week of daily nightriding. It is a shame that now I can only get a few brief rides in with it before needing to charge it back up. And if I plan to ride at night I need to allow myself at least 3 hours of charging to get 45 minutes of biking in.In other words, after just a year of low to moderate use, for every hour of charging, I get only 15 minutes of use at the brightest setting. That is quite abysmal. And I am now at the point where I'm considering buying a new one. So if you are considering buying this, know that it is cheap for a reason and will only last you like one or two years with moderate use.Despite battery life being disappointing, the look and feel of the item is very nice. It is durable and easy to use while riding, and it truly is resistant to the elements. The wide angle of the light covers a nice wide area to be aware of everything in front of you and the brightness covers a decent distance illuminating about 100-150 feet ahead of you very clearly, with the effective range dropping after that. That gives you about 5 seconds of preparedness to see what is ahead of you if you are biking down a nature trail or somewhere remote at a speed of about 15mph. For me, that is as good as it gets!p.s. The free tail light is a nice bonus and very easy to attach and use. It never hurts to have more lights behind you when riding at night. It was quite bright if a bit small, and it has a flashing option to create increased awareness by motorists if you're riding on the road. However, it isn't as bright and big as most other tail lights, do I would say it's good if you don't have one, but you really ought to invest in something bigger and brighter.

For years I have had problems with low quality flashlights spending a fortune replacing them all the time. the perfect Flashlight has still Not been made that would be a Flashlight with a crank that does Not break off and solar recharge and has removable D Cell batteries and It stays bright for hours. In My almost 63 years there has been 5 good Flashlights build It Yourself, a Coleman Propane Lantern, I forgot brand name It was a crank solar LED but It was Not very bright has Non removable battery and has been disconnected Its around 10 years old and still works..... then this brand 25 dollar model which Is the only LED Bicycles light I have ever had that did Not fall apart or had problems with..... then the $01.88 Flashlight at Walmart but It uses them stupid Triple A batteries...... then there Is this Flashlight It Is the second brightest Flashlight I have ever had I had a Everready that I think was a 4 D Cell that might have been brighter but It stopped working. This Bicycle light has a Non removable battery but how wonderful that It uses USB and USB C charging port Instead of that stupid micro USB which should be outlawed. between the 25 dollar model and thus 30 dollar model, this model Is the brightest but the 25 dollar model Is bright too plus has a digital read out to tell how much charge Is In the battery and has USB C too so I more like the 25 dollar model. the Taillight Is just the typical Bicycle taillight, I buy the cheapest taillight I can find that uses them stupid Triple A batteries.
