Straps way too long only thing I could do was cut them didn’t want to do that …so returned item

I tried to install a 2.5 lb extinguisher in my Jeep LJ. I assumed that the straps with the American flag would be the ones to wrap around the extinguisher. But these straps were waay too long. And the other straps were waay too short to wrap around the roll bar. So I had to reverse them. Would've been perfect if they had sewn the flag on the shorter strap. The velcro, buckles, and stitching seem to be very strong. Time will tell.

Bought this for my husband's Jeep, it was a perfect fit.

In the past had to go through several plastic stands, screwed to the wall, and they broke. This holder is very sturdy and can be installed on any pole.One thing could make the holder easier to use: extent the length of the bottom strap by about 1/2” to accommodate the bigger diameter fire extinguisher.

So I purchased two of these for the pair of extinguishers I got from the big box store. Being smaller in capacity, I thought it might be a good idea to carry both in my Wrangler.I have them mounted to the roll cage at the most rearward facing position. They have not moved an inch in around three months of normal driving. I did take my time setting up and moving the straps into the optimum position and cinched them down tightly over the roll cage padding. It has been a very good product for me so far and I would buy it again if I had a need!

This is an anti-Goldilocks item.Side straps too long for a SMALL 1:10 (2.5lb, 3" dia.) unit(but of course, they can be cut down - just heat seal the ends).Bottom strap is too long - sloppy/loose fit, possible fall-thru.Side straps just fine for MEDIUM 2:20/3:40 (3.5-5.5lb. 4" dia.) unit.Bottom strap is too short - got it to fit - just barely - off to the side,bt it may slide up allowing fall-thru.I should be able to fix it using a strap from the defective grab handle that came in the bundle (the other 3 grabs are fine, and that's all I need). Maybe pop rivets to make sure it stays centered.If the bottom strap on this was adjustable for 3-5" diameter extinguishers, 5 stars.

Purchased to use in a 2024 Jeep 2 door JL. It was easy to install and holds the fire extinguisher tightly. I was a bit concerned that it would allow the fire extinguisher to swing into the window and break it, but after mounting it, it feels very secure. I will keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't loosen over time.
