My 9 year old goddaughters and their friends loved this. They spent hours making outfits and putting on fashion shows. Big hit!

I ordered this for my two granddaughtes of different ages 7 and 12, to encourage them to design and make clothes for their dolls. Opening the box is like opening up a treasure trove, and it has everything you need as well as things you didn't know you would need. It can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be, and it's potential for stimulating the imagination is unlimited. Well worth the money. It's the type of thing that is great for rainy days of which we've had many. It's encouraged my granddaughters to think about the design process, from drawing a picture and picking out material to actually making a dress that will fit the doll. I have given them help when needed because this is not really a toy, but the real deal with needles, scissors, pins etc etc. This was a great buy and has given us many hours of fun, making some outrageous bits and some more sensible, I recommend it if you have children who are interested in fashion and the design process

This is a great set - full of different fabrics and embellishments to make different outfits. Garments can be sewn but the best thing about this is that you can poke fabric into the back of the manikin and secure it with a tool in the kit, so outfits can be made very quickly and changed as needed without seeing etc. I wish there was an option to buy more manikins.

I have found this kit very fiddly and my granddaughter hasn’t taken to it because of this. We have decided not to use the models as they are very unstable. Also we had hoped to use the outfits for her Barbies but once they’re on the model, that’s it. We will use the great range of fabrics and accessories to make our own designs.
