Mine was nicely made and finished. It is important to use this hemispherical spoon shape rather than an ordinary spoon for measuring out coffee. They both hold 15 ml of liquid because liquid will always be level. When measuring coffee a conventional domestic flatter surface spoon will hold much more coffee (or any other powder) when heaped, as follows. This spoon holds 8 g of coffee when level and 11 g when heaped. However a conventional standard domestic tablespoon will hold 5 g of coffee when level and a whopping 22 g of coffee when heaped. The massive variation is due to the larger surface area of the conventional spoon. Clearly there is much greater consistency in measuring when using a hemispherical spoon that is designed and made for solids rather as well as liquids.

Nice spoon for measuring out my coffee for my new coffee filter machine. I like the shape and design, the handle is not too long so it fits easily in the storage container I use for my coffee grounds too. I like having a designated measuring spoon for this purpose (although obviously any reasonably sized spoon would do at a pinch) so am pleased with my purchase.

This is the second one I've ordered as my brother kept harping on about how much he liked my first one, so I gave it to him to stop having to hear a repetition of the same declaration ever again when he visited. The scoop and it's stem are exactly 6'' ( 153 mm ) in length being just right for my sealable coffee canister, which is never more than half full with the typical volume of the coffee sold in pouches in my local supermarket ( the one beginning with 'W' that actually does sell good ground coffee). It is sturdily made in stainless steel so lending itself to a very practical, non-tarnishing, and long lasting life of service. As a piece of advice about buying one of these over one of those which come with a clip to attach to resealable pouches, I can only state that in my experience the clips break and most of the pouches look unsightly anyway. Get a nice canister ( there are some with lovely visual designs on Amazon ) and get this nice spoon too.Eamonn

Strange how the simple things in life make you happy. This stainless steel coffee scoop was less than a fiver but I love it! I know it has a simple task but it makes me feel like a coffee connoisseur (I'm definitely not). Nice, solid little scoop that will outlive me for sure.If you need a coffee scoop, look no further.

This measuring spoon looks much nicer in the flash than the photo indicates, nice enough to sit on top of the coffee maker rather than hidden in a drawer. The depth and shape of the scoop allows for a good measure of coffee with no spillage and the steepness of the sides allows a heaped measure if preferred.

This is a good sturdy coffee measuring scoop, and replaces the plastic one that's been in use for about six years and which finally cracked while washing it. This scoop is exactly the same capacity as the old one and four scoops gives two mugs of fairly strong coffee. It's a good price and with free delivery I would recommend it.

Having lost several free plastic coffee measures, I decided to purchase this. It is great - just right for a measure, the handle is a good length to get to the bottom of a coffee pack, coffee grounds don't stick to it like they do to plastic and it looks nice. Didn't think I could get so excited about a coffee spoon!

Thought I'd write a review which will highlight my experience.The spoon is smaller than I expected. It does give the size in the description but it wasn't all that easy to visualise the size so I just assumed it was about the same size as the old coffee scoop I had. That one was about 30ml and the perfect size for me as I was using it to make measure out coffee made by french press (the type you fill with boiling water and press down after brewing). This spoon was about half the size of the previous coffee spoon I had.It would have been useful to see a photo of this spoon next something of known size such as an iphone or a matchbox.Regardless, I am keeping the spoon as it wasn't the sellers fault that I did not know ky sizes.The spoon is shiny and looks like it is made from stainless steel.Build quality not amazing but fit for purpose. The handle was a bit thinner than what I would expect for a high quality product.Hope this helps.

Ja, der Löffel ist stabil, ja , er hat die richtige Größe. Aber der Griff ist nur oben abgerundet, unten schartkantig. Jedes Anfassen ist unangenehm.Unser alter Kaffeemesslöffel von Tchibo war besser.

Avendo sempre utilizzato i dosatori in plastica forniti con le macchine da caffè che dopo un anno o due si rompono ho deciso di provare questo dosatore in acciaio e, per ora ne sono moto soddisfatto.La quantità di caffè è la stessa che si poteva prelevare con il dosatore originale della macchina e l'impressione che si ricava è di un oggetto molto robusto, il materiale direi che sia quello dichiarato ovvero acciaio inox.Direi che vale ampiamente la spesa.

Enfin une cuillère pour bien bien doser le café en poudre ; la cuillère est belle, le manche sans soudure apparente est dessiné comme une cuillère à café : je peux enfin jeter les cuillères en plastique marron qui sont très fragiles et introuvables en grande surface au détail. Une cuillère que je conseille vivement. Je suis ravie de mon achat
