The standard Black edition for £9.99 is one of my all time greatest purchases. Bought it for a long haul flight and it's been a regular carry in my backpack ever since.Sleep masks can vary hugely in quality and price. This one is the best value to money on the market. Is it absolutely perfect? No, but it's pretty damn close and a tenner for a near perfect product is a steal.Yes, it blocks out the light.Yes, it's comfortable on my eyes.Yes, it's adjustable and stays adjusted (and the buckle doesn't snag or dig into my head)Yes, it folds up small enough to fit in a pocket.Buy it, try it.

Recommendation by Peter Attia in his book Outlive. Very soft and gentle on the eyes, it offer complete blackness, affordable too. Very please with the purchase.

I really like this mask. It's light and comfortable on my face. The silk feels amazing and keeps the perfect temperature without being too warm or cool. It does a great job of blocking light (see caveat coming up).When I was deciding on which to go for, I chose this over the 2 strap. I forget why. I should have gone with the 2 strap. This isn't necessarily a fault fo the product so I'm not blaming it. Just putting it here to help anyone reading these. While the strap on this is really soft and comfortable it's not ideal for me. Perhaps it's my anatomy but I can't wear it above my ears because it then pulls the mask up and feels a little uncomfortable on the tops of my ears. Over the ears is much better but still not a huge fan of pressing on my ears. It's not a huge deal and something I'll get used to. The 2 strap would have solved the problem.Now the caveat. And it's likely that this is also more about my anatomy than the mask. I don't have a huge nose but it's not small either. So the bottom of the mask does tend to lift slightly. Not at all an issue at night but potentially an issue for things like daytime naps. I don't really use a mask for napping so it's not a huge issue for me personally. But since I did notice it I thought it worth noting here.Overall this is a great sleep mask and any issues I have are more niggles than actual complaints or huge problems. I know that catering to every use case or anatomy in a product like this is impossible.

I’ve bought several sleep masks from Alaska Bear and this is the best. The mask is comfortable to wear especially as it doesn’t rest on my eyelids; despite this it doesn’t have a deep cup for the eyes which is good because it means the mask isn’t bulky. I also like the addition of extra material, like a flap, around the nose on the inner facing side of the mask which reduces light leakage to an absolute minimum. Overall this mask has made the difference between waking at the first light of dawn and waking when I want.

I got this as my husband likes to read in bed in the early hours. It's great,so comfortable and total blackout. Have recently purchased another for a friend

I've now bought two of these masks - one to keep at home and one to keep in my travel case. They are very well designed and exceptionally effective compared to other sleep masks I have used. The elastic can be easily adjusted to hold the mask firmly onto my face. The contoured areas around the eyes are both comfortable and brilliant at excluding almost all light. I recently did not get to bed until after dawn on a very sunny day and was not optomistic about my chances of a good sleep; butI had no problems with these. They have become an important part of my sleep routine.

The mask doesn't completely block out all light. When the mask is aligned properly, it blocks 95% of light, but if you sleep on your front/side it can very easily become misaligned and takes some readjusting to get back in place.The mask is very comfortable.Overall, for the price, it's decent.

The mask is so soft and comfortable that I forget I'm wearing anything. I bought it because my room faces east and the sun rises too early in the summer (or rather, I sleep too late ...). It blocks out the light so well and I no longer get disturbed by early sunrise or roomates having to switch on some lights in the middle of the night.
