Another Excellent Joyo Pedal - but, analogue(?) .... well, not really.
Bought this (I actually bought 2 - to experiment with emulating the 'Classic' 50s/early 60's, 'multi-tap echo effect', and) to replace my ageing, mid-1980's vintage Tokai TDL-1 Delay, itself a clone of a Boss pedal of the day (which, although still going strong, is starting to become somewhat valuable). This Joyo JF-33, unlike those 'true' analog(ue) delay pedals of yesteryear, does NOT use a proper analogue BBD (Bucket-Brigade Device) chip to produce its echo/repeats, but a modern digital version which, to be honest, in a gigging environment, you would be hard pushed to tell, sonicaly, was any different - However, it is NOT, strictly, correct to call this an 'Analog' device. That said, it's housed in a solid metal case, has an 'industry standard' chunky 'dip-switch', is 'true-bypass' (preserving the quality of the original signal when 'off'), can be powered by the ubiquitous 9 Volt (pp3) battery with a handy (if slightly flimsy) flap for access, or a 9 volt 'Wall Wart' or multi-outlet 'Power Brick', looks smart, is remarkably inexpensive and well built, externally, at least - I'm no electronics expert, but I would expect that, for the price, some corners may well have been cut, regarding internal electronic construction/components etc,But, it does the job, and extremely well - for about A THIRD OF THE PRICE of it's major competition - And, like this Joyo, regardless of their 'name,' they're all made in China too!

ok
Good delivery time...came without battery..pretty average build quality compared to similar size blackstar and boss pedals...back screws were hard to remove and nearly stripped the heads to fit battery..in use sounds ok but does not blow you away! All functions work appropriately.

good pedal
this is a good pedal with authentic analog sounds - unfortunatly the foot-switch on the one I recently purchased broke very quickly after very-very little use; I'm not heavy footed and the pedal was replaced quickly. The joyo range are good value and work well - I suggest the digital version though if all you want is a delay and are not seeking a retro sound; if you are the MXR is still the best if you can get one.

Another fantastic pedal from Joyo
Fantastic pedal, easy to setup and use. The controls are easy to tweak and the pedal adds nice delay effect without affecting the tone. I can’t fault it.

long live joyo!
I love Joyo pedals, this jf-33 analog delay is the third one my pedal board with the tuner and sweet baby overdrive. The analog delay sits perfectly with my memory boy deluxe. Cracking bit of kit.

Love it, well made, great sound.
Love it, great sounding delay, lots of flexibility and feels well made; metal body and nice feel to switch. Stick the feedback right up for wacky fun time!

great delay
Great souding and well made delay pedal with a nice decay to the repeats. Much better than the very overated and dull sounding Boss pedals.
