Over the years I’ve had many pairs of DM’s in various styles and colours -including a pair in this style - and had to spend a good month panning them in properly. These shoes are an expection to that rule. My usual size is UK 6.5 but the price of the 6.5 was way over what I wanted to pay so I took a punt and ordered a size UK 6. It is perfect. There’s no pinching or rubbing anywhere. They fit so well that they almost feel bespoke. I love them. If anything I’d say that they are ever so slightly too narrow -I have a slightly wider than average foot - but the leather will stretch over time. All in all I’m stoked with these and I know that I’ve got a great pair of winter shoes that’ll last me many years to come. One thing to also point out is that over the 20 or so years that I’ve worn Dr Martens I have to say that they are one the few brands where I have not seen the quality go down. They have the same fantastic sole and the leather is robust as always. They are well put together with the stitching and the hardwear is sturdy too. Top marks.

I have wanted a pair for years but after owning a pair or the iconic black DM boots as a teen, that literally shredded my ankles to pieces every time I wore them, I was really apprehensive about repeating that painful process. (Those boots were never fully worn in sadly) However, after ordering these I am able to walk around outside for a few hours with no problem. I walk quite a lot and haven't put them to the use for a super long walk yet, but so far they are really comfortable and I can tell they will be delicious on my feet for years. I am fairly wide footed and also struggle quite a bit with shoes for this reason, but these fit lovely with some room to spare. I highly recommend them, they look lovely...with trousers or skirt/dresses.

Fabulous! I have been on a waiting list to purchase these in a size 6.5 on the official DM website and my local DM store in Newcastle. Saw them on Amazon and they were cheaper and free delivery, winner winner.Great shoes, great price, free delivery, what’s not to love

Pleased with the shoes-fit well. Strap/buckle was fine-fit on the 2nd hole out of 3 (only saying as some reviewers found they needed to make an extra hole-guess I’ve got fat feet!🤣). Apart from the back of my ankles not rubbing and only making them a little red by the end of the day but think this will pass once I’ve worn them in (only on day 2). On my feet all day at work-finding the soles very comfortable. Overall very pleased with them-they are more expensive than my usual work shoes but hoping they will last and therefore be worth the extra money-time will tell!

Is a beautifully designed shoes and feels comfortable enough to walk around. But I need to find out whether it feels the same when I do a lot of outdoor walking. My only complaint is the strap is too short with only 3 holes and I spent ages trying to buckle my shoes into the 3rd hole. In the end I found something to make a 4th hole so that I can buckle the strap. And I have very narrowed feet with small ankles!

Iv been wanting to get a pair of these shoes for some time. I know Dr Martins to be comfortable as well as hard wearing. They are always worth the money too. Must admit, I do like to wear them in before I wear them for work because I’m personally prone to blisters with new shoes but well worth it. I know these will last me for years to come. As I have a pair of their boots that Iv for 20 years now.

Shoes to hard round the heals cannot wear them am I to late for a refund

These are slim fitting shoes. I normally take an 8 and I bought an 8 as they fit perfect. I usually end up ordering 9s. A good solid bouncy sole which is traditionally Dr Matrens. These are sturdy and robust so should last a long time. Very stylish and adaptable for wearing with skirts, leggings, jeans etc. Would definitely recommend. I did well getting these £35 cheaper from Amazon than high street stores. They do these in other colours and I am tempted with the burgundy ones.
