Pines Organic Wheat Grass Powder, 24 Ounce

Wow, this product is a great value - a much smaller bottle of Pines Wheat Grass goes for almost double the price in many vitamin shops. My husband and I used this everyday and it's such a great supplement - a nice boost of energy and support the immune system. We both highly recommend this product to others on a regular basis.

I have purchased other brands of wheat grass however Pines has been around for the longest and is by far the best and most trusted.

I have done a lot of research on wheat grass power and ended up with this one. I really found their website very helpful..how it is grown and how it is harvested. Sometimes it sticks to the plastic after I finish blending it but I think it is something that I use in the ingredients of my protein shake. I add 8 oz of almond milk to container and 1 1/2 teaspoons of wheat powder, and I vary the following ingredients...banana, mixed frozen fruit, strawberries, blueberries, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, apple. I have to be really careful with the carbs - I have to keep my carbs around 40 for the day to lose weight. These drinks can contain enough carbs for a week if you are not careful. Half banana keeps the mixture smooth

I wasn't a fan of wheat grass. It always repeated on me and I felt like I had been grazing in a field all day. I did a ton of research to try and find a wheat grass product that would not bother me. I bought Pines International and use 1/4 tsp in my smoothie and while I taste it in my smoothie I am not tasting it all day. The serving size on the jar is 1 1/4 tsp. I am in the process of working my way up to that. Since this is my first continuous usage I don't want to overdo the detox because this brand is pretty potent stuff (can tell by the smell and color). The jar is HUGE by the way and if you use a serving size will last a very, very long time so it is worth the price. I have Raynaud's and my doctor wanted to put me on all sorts of pills to try and help, things like anti-malaria, antibiotics, and other garbage. I started researching natural products that may help. I can tell you that within one week of drinking a smoothing with 1/4 tsp wheat grass, 1/4 tsp beat powder, 1/4 tsp matcha and 1 tbsp raw cocoa that my Raynaud's is significantly less. I can have flare ups from vibration (driving in a car was always bad) or holding a cold cup or gripping something too tight. In one week's time, I have been able to, without incident, drive, hold cold cups, put my hands in frozen fruit to make my smoothie and not have to warm my hands up. Unless it works on me for my issues I am skeptical, however, I am a skeptic no longer and am a believer that yes, with the right natural products you can help your body without the use of pharmaceuticals.

I'm not fond of most vegetables. I eat them out of duty, but don't enjoy them. I put a large spoonful of this in a breakfast shake every morning and that way I'm sure I'm at least getting some green vegetable in -- especially in the morning. Who wants regular vegetables for breakfast?

I used to juice wheatgrass every day. My supplier retired and it became more and more difficult to get quality grass in useful quantities an at a reasonable price. This powdered wheatgrass is the next best thing to fresh squeezed juice. It's convenient too. The flavor is mild and the nutritional benefits are the same as fresh. One of my best finds.

This super food has been so good for my health! I take it daily and would not miss.

Sorry, I have done a good job at using it every day for 2 months but it is the worst taste in the whole world! I am only doing it because it was so expensive and with the hope that although it tastes so horribly bad, that I may get some benefits. I don't feel any different, no big changes in hair, nails of any sort. My husband has been using it also and he doesn't notice any difference either. I am sure it is helping with vitamins but honestly this is a horrible tasting product. No matter what you mix it with, you feel like you are eating grass. I don't think it blends well, I can feel the grass blades against my throat when I am chugging it. Wish I did more research and realized how awful this product is on the taste buds.
