My 7 year old daughter and I built this castle for her birthday. The pieces were nicely organized into four sturdy plastic bags that we could later reuse. She had fun ordering the bags, and finding her way with the elaborate, detailed and helpful instructions. Then, bag by bag, we tackled the building of the ~900 pieces castle. Or is it a carnival car? Or something else? That too, was fun to discuss. Of course, she connected the story of this set to Disney's Frozen, so that we could chat about how Elsa would have built this driving castle. The instructions are easy to follow for my 7-year old. She enjoyed alternating between picking pieces for the next steps, and using the pieces I had gathered for her to build the next step. Pieces fitted perfectly, and connections between pieces felt strong and sturdy. The set has survived a week of play at the time of writing, which is more than I've been able to say of some of the competition.Very warmly recommended.

The ad images make this build look playable however if you follow the instructions you will find that it is almost inaccessible - at least without potentially tearing the build apart - once its fully assembled. The 'books' are design to anchor down to pieces that are anchored down the floor and do not have a 'handle' to help pull them out without them trying to fall apart (this might not be an issue if the book covers were single pieces as they are in the real Lego sets but as these are in pieces to much stress just causes them to break up super easy). This is easy to correct, take the furniture they are suppose to anchor into, lift them up a peg or two, and attach the furniture to the book covers and not the main build and never fully 'close' the books so you can easily pull them out - if you don't do this then you do pretty much lose accessibility.The set does not come with any figures, it didn't say it did but I have the Headmasters office book from this company as well and it did come with figures though it did not advertise them so just a heads up. The sets, I got both, once assembled are pretty big - I do definitely feel like I got my moneys worth. As for the pieces they do lock in pretty snug with only slight gaps/misalignments every once in a while - EDUCIRO really has stepped up their game with these two sets as far as sturdiness and size go. Definitely would recommend to budget conscience HP fans.

This project is lengthy, but very nice - not too repetitive or predictable, but exciting and fun. The instructions are easier to follow than for the Lego-brand castle set that we recently built. The pieces all fit exactly like you would expect quality bricks to fit. Consistent and firm. It makes for a very solid finished product, and an enjoyable experience building! The age on here (7+) is very fitting. I think my just-turned 7 y/o could do this with light help. It’s mine, but I might let her rebuild it sometime.

Perfect! This set is for a more advanced builder. Beginners will need some help, but super fun for all!

My daughter just turned 7, she did good putting this together with very minimal help. Blocks are good bright colors, color of blocks better then lego brand.

Great quality product and the directions were easy to follow! Came quickly and in perfect condition!

Nice set enjoyed building it with my niece. But it took us some time to build. Overall worth the buy.
