Decent gaps between the LEDs, I've seen some that are ridiculous on the gap. Unlike my previous strip this one does not have a silicone over mold, they do stay cool even after running for many hours. I prepped my surfaces I taped to with a cleaning agent and then iso. alcohol. The double sided sticky on the back seems good enough, though I still used some clear tape to keep it fastened. Back of desk and under for some real nice illumination. For my roll, all LEDs work, none burnt out, still working fine no problems at this time. Attached to a smart plug, turns on and off at set times, cause well the controller or "remote" is garbo.Mind the dust and the amazing cable management!

TLDR; CS is useless. Ordered 4 sets of lights. #3 and #4 defective. Combined good parts of both sets to make 2 good sets. 2 pin connectors for these are very hard to find. Not shipped with care which could be the reason for defects/damage.Customer service appears to have trouble understanding basic questions and rely heavily on pre-written copy/paste answers that might not be relevant. My question was met with a FAQ copy/paste that was irrelevant to my question.--Ordered 1 set of 32 ft lights.-- Came in 1 roll instead of 2 so I asked what I needed to split them and CS wasn't able to help. To split you need 2 pin connectors, lepro doesn't sell them, they don't know where I can buy them and I couldn't find any on Amazon so I returned these lights. They require 2 pin connectors (not the common 4 pin connectors) to split. I couldn't find connector kits so no gap jumpers, no Y splitters, no T splitters, no 90 degree corner connectors. Nothing. This makes it difficult to achieve a clean non-wasteful install, especially in visible areas.--Ordered 2 sets of 16 ft lights--. 1 set is defective. Bent power supply connector. I tried bending back but the metal is still exposed. Emailed CS with pics asking for replacement but only received another canned FAQ about installation. They didn't even read my email. The other set in this order worked great.The 4th set was a replacement set. They arrived with creases every few inches on the strip. Looked horrible. I combined the power supply of this set with the leds of the other set. Sent the rest back.Overall if you have a non-visible install and don't care about sloppy corners and you can manage to get a good set shipped to you in one piece these seem to be great lights. Super bright. I wish the dimmer switch wire was longer though. Had to install it INSIDE my detolf display cases because if not I would have been too limited on starting location of lights. That means I now have to open the cases to turn on the lights each time and risk damaging figures or smudging hard to clean glass. I opted for smart plugs but still the wire should be longer imo.If lights stop working I'll update the review.
