This teapot is perfect in every way. After breaking two clear glass teapots, I was looking for something sturdy and this accomplishes that. It is also very attractive in my kitchen and I absolutely love it.Pros:- It is very large and well insulated- It does not drip when pouring (or after)- It is tall and easy to hold/pour- It is not too heavy when full and there is no risk of the lid falling off- It is easy to clean and since the handle is well-made, it doesn't feel like it will slip out of your hand when washingCons:- The tea steeper is a long and thin cylinder making it difficult to clean if you do not have a thin enough scrubber. Luckily I already have a waterbottle scrubber and that works perfectly.This is the best teapot I have ever owned. I would highly recommend it and I would buy again if I needed one.

With the demise of my last LTC Chatsford 6 cup pot this has become the main teapot at home. So far it's cleaning up beautifully with just a quick rinse after use and makes a very good pot of tea. Things to know:- it's sort of huge, so you have to figure out how much to fill it to match a 6 cup (36 oz) capacity, or add a couple extra tsp of tea leaves- the rim of the basket tends to catch on the bottom of the lid, so it helps to pull it slightly away from that- the tall shape makes it a bit easier to knock over so watch where you place it

Love, love, love! I’ve been wanting a larger teapot with a built infuser for loose tea. We are a family of 4, and we drink a lot of tea. This is exactly what I wanted. It doesn’t look like it holds as much as it does. When it arrived I actually though I ordered the wrong one, so I verified the volume with my measuring cup. Easy pour, does not spill or drip. The metal lid is attached by a removable rubber ring. So far this has been easy to remove and put back in. Hopefully that part does not break down (I’d recommend hand washing this part to make sure). The opening is too small to put my hand in to scrub, but easy to clean with any bottle brush, also dishwasher safe. The mesh infuser to easy to clean too, but don’t use a brush with bristles, because they will get stuck in the tiny holes. It’s not often I find something that is *exactly* what I wanted, but this teapot is it. I would definitely give this as a gift to anyone who loves tea, especially loose. Many pretty colors, I chose white so It would match everything.

Prior reviews led me to buy this teapot and they were right. Truly great tea pot. Easy clean up. Pretty traditional like color. I bought this one for a summer cottage so could make lots of tea for iced tea. Sun ice tea does not extract the flavor I want. I want a 2x, or 3 x strength so when poured over ice cubes, comes out at the right flavor intensity. This pot makes a liter at a time easily. Make in the morning, pull the easy stainless steal tea basket out, let cool for most of the day, and refrig overnight. Pours without spilling, no fine tea dust into the tea, easy to toss the loose tea from the stainless tea basket. Using loose tea much less expensive than tea bags and much better flavor profile. In the late fall am going to buy a small 2 cup one to make hot tea for the wife and I.

The tall design, matched with the long, deep leaf strainer that comes with the pot, gives room for all the tea leaves to expand when I want to make a big full pot of tea. The blue color I purchased is subdued (I wish it were less dull). The pot pours like a dream! No drip. The handle is very sturdy and comfortable. The ceramic it is made of is much stronger than the glass so many other pots are made of. I do have 2 small gripes though. The lid is flimsy (but functional), and the wire loop attached to the top of the strainer detached within a few days which makes it hard to pry up the hot strainer.

I am very happy I purchased this teapot. The filter is big but with tiny filters and is very easy to clean.The size is perfect, the top is easy to operate. Very good purchased, and for me the right color red.

This tea pot is so cute! I had a favorite tea pot for over ten years and last week I broke the lid. I was so disappointed. So I shopped and read a zillion reviews. I needed a fairly large one because I brew tea for iced tea. This one is the perfect size. And I was little worried about the handle and if I could lift it, because I have rheumatoid arthritis and my hands don’t work great. But this handle is very comfortable for me. Also, I was worried about all the breaking tea pots people were reviewing. So I poured the first pot of boiling water from the kettle in to the tea pot, very slowly, and on top of a towel, just in case. No cracks! Woohoo! I think if the tea pot was freezing cold it might crack, but for now it seems great. I don’t use the tea infuser because I use tea bags so I can’t rate that. But all in all this tea pot makes me happy so far!

I love this pot! I always use loose leaf tea, have been using a 24oz. Japanese cast iron pot for years. I wanted a pot with a larger capacity that wasn't as heavy. This pot's looks are deceiving - it looks small but holds a full 47oz. The strainer has very fine holes so you don't end up with tea dust in the bottom of your cup. Dripless pour also. All in all, s great pot!
