Tested this for one trip and taking it on another. Love the small pump and it appears to work really well. I travel carry on only whenever possible so this will allow me to buy a little more.

I used these for travel and they hold quite a bit of clothing. There's a bit of a learning curve with figuring out the best way to put clothes in the bag. i tried regular folding as well as rolling. The suction thing is small but works great. The only bad thing is the little blue pieces that help seal the bag come off super easy so I learned really quick to store them securely when not in use. They work great and I was able to over pack as usual but with taking up much less room.

We love these for cruises! Especially cold weather cruises like Alaska. You can vacuum pack large winter coats in a breeze! I love that this comes with the vacuum attachment! So easy to use.

Love the way that I can over pack with this! Excellent for traveling.

At the time of review this item retails for $28.99 for a a pack of 9 plastic bags with pump.Pros- Nice variety of bags, they are all on the smaller side, and I would say it's perfect for ONE large suitcase (24/28 inches).- Comes with a portable pump with an attached USB cord (Can't be removed) with an USB A end (The square type)- Well packaged, in fact too well packaged. Each bag is individually wrapped and none were damagedCons- Bags are real thing, filling them up with clothes can be scary, it feels like it will rip at any second- The Pump is useless. First it doesn't come with a charger, but even used a 5V charger as indicated, it does little to nothing. Most of the work will be you squeezing the air out our trying to get the air to the pump valve- Extremely poor value, there are thick and go quality bags out there for a fraction of the price. The pump, which was the main reason to purchase this, is useless.I would not recommend this purchase, look around for potential better options.

Bought for a family trip to Europe. The pump does not remove air, the only way I got any vacuum at all was by removing the cap and rolling the bag. Works, sort of but with the cap replaced, the bags don't hold the vacuum. I'm now traveling with a ziplock bag that actually increases the amount of space used because it fills with air. Sadly my return window has closed as I bought these 2 months before the trip so everything was ready.

The bags really do work. My wife just took them on a weekend trip and they compressed her clothes quite a bit. So much so she easily able to store her stuff in a carry on suitcase with room to spare (avoided taking another bag). They didnt leak or come apart with the standard luggage handling either (issues i have had in the past). We are looking forward to using these with up coming international trip.The only down side is the pump. I love the fact it comes with a pump, but it is terrible. After 5 min of pumping air out of them, it barely took out any air. I gave up and bought a Flextail portable pump. That pump made quick work of removing the air (20-30s). Also, be careful with the blue slider. We already lost one as they come off pretty easily. Not an issue if you are taking several bags, but we have decided to store them in our toiletry bags.Overall, really good. We are going to be getting more.

I was able to pack all my husbands things in a carry on for him for a 4 day trip using just 3 bags (clothing, not toiletries). He also brought an extra for wet things (bathing suit, etc). He did comment he wished the nozzle hole was off to the side somewhere as when you're stacking them they get in the way. BUT he did discover if he only sucked out about 90% of the air and did it while it was in his carry on, he could mould it around where the bars are. What I didn't like was the sealer only operates while plugged in and you can only use a usb plug. The one they give you is rather short so you have to have the bag right at the usb port in your room. Unless of course you have a battery pack which fortunately he does. All in all, a great travel accessory.
