Funny story - maybe not for cat lovers, but it’s cute.

Very cute book written from the perspective of the dog.

My daughter loves this book! She loves the dog and the bees and the naughty cat. Illustrations are great as is the story. I think we have the whole series now . Love it

I laughed out loud while reading this book and studying the adorable, expressive illustrations. I love Chip and how he is the best boy; the dog point of view feels authentic. The clever use of end papers by the illustrator immerses readers into the personalities of both Chip and the cat. I thought the plot diverted from the title too much and presented things dogs can trust more than why dogs can't trust cats, but overall a fun, lighter read.

Chip the dog is hilarious, he has the best advice! This book is much loved by my kids and I love reading it to them!

Don't Trust Cats is another laugh-out-loud book in the series about Chip the Dog and his ongoing conflict with cats in general and Mittens in particular. I highly recommend it and the other two in the series: Don't Eat Bees and Don't Lose Mr. Cuddles.

I love this book. I am of course a dog lover but I’m an animal lover none the less . What a great book to teach point of view to third grade . They would get a kick out of this book. I am on a hunt to collect all her books. Add this to your library. You won’t be disappointed . I can’t wait for the newest one to come out ….Don’t Lose Mr.Cuddles! Thanks for writing ! Don’t stop!
