Q: What size is appropriate for a boys skate size 1?

Elite Hockey laces seem to recommend 72" (YOUTH 8 - JUNIOR 3; 72" - 180CM). You can always wrap around the ankle if too long, or cut the lace and put a knot in the end if they are too long as well. I hope that helps!

Correction to my previous answer. 108" works for newer ice skates with a stiffer boot. 96" is best for inline skates or older ice skates.
