I used these to try to figure out why some components in my BMW were not working properly. Although the fitting was not a perfect match to my particular connector, the fiber optic cable that creates the loop worked perfectly, and that's all that was needed for my purpose. In the event that this had to be installed permanently, a zip tie would have been needed to hold the optic loop in place because the fitting was different. Not worth deducting a star, as I would not expect a single product like this to fit every fiber optic connection on the market.
