DOES whiten teeth without whitener IF...
**UPDATE** All the people who say this doesn't whiten your teeth on its own are wrong. YES it does, IF... the reason you've lost some of the white in your enamel is due to age versus staining. As we get older, we begin to lose some of the calcium in our bodies, from our bones and from our teeth. This product replenishes the llst calcium which improves the strength and color of your enamel. I don't even bother using a whitener anymore, just use this stuff every other month or so, and at 50 yrs old, I get compliments all the time on how beautiful my teeth are and I don't even whiten them. Now, if your problem is that your teeth are stained due to certain foods and drinks (e.g. coffee, sodas, wine) or bad habits like smoking 🤮 then you will need to whiten your teeth first to get rid of the stains. Following up with this product will help reduce or eliminate tooth sensitivity. In fact, it will help with that whether it's from whitening or you just have sensitive teeth. As for the best way to use it, the trays are best bc they allow your teeth time to absorb the minerals. After I brush my teeth at night, I "inject" thin lines of the blue gel in the trays, put them in my mouth and leave them there for an hour or so while I'm watching TV or reading at night. After an hour, I take them out, rinse them off, slosh some water around in my mouth and spit. I don't brush my teeth again after. In the morning, my teeth are back to being pearly white. (Btw, the same holds true if you do use a whitener. You brush your teeth, use the whitener, be it gel or strips, then use this stuff.) I do that once, maybe twice, every other month without using any whitener, which I don't need bc I don't drink sodas or coffee or wine. Even my dentist was impressed with how nice my teeth look and with how much stronger and healthier they are.So to recap, YES this will improve the whiteness and strength of your tooth enamel on its own IF it's a matter of less calcium in your teeth and due to age (generally, 40+ yrs). And it will reduce or eliminate teeth sensitivity whether it's due to whitening or not. And using trays is the best way to utilize this product to get maximum effect.

WOW! The relief is real!
Prior to starting my whitening process, I had expressed concern to my dentist about sensitivity. I’d had a bad experience many years ago with OTC whitening strips and hoped to avoid any problems. My dentist prescribed me a special toothpaste to use for a couple weeks before starting, but had failed to tell me that I should not rinse (even with water) immediately after using it. That was my routine and I didn’t know any better. In spite of three weeks on the special toothpaste, I had zero benefit from it… of course I didn’t know this until after my first whitening session.I started my whitening process on Tuesday evening, using Opalescence 15 PF. By Wednesday morning, I was miserable. I started doing my own research for relief options and came upon this product. I ordered the same day and was fortunate to have to product in hand by Friday evening. It was perfect timing. The sensitivity had gotten better by Thursday evening, so I had whitened again and was again in pain on Friday. I was able to use the gel immediately and although it wasn’t complete instant relief, it made a huge difference in my level of discomfort. I repeated the treatment on Saturday morning for added relief. I have now whitened every night since then and followed it up with about 20 mins (the instructions recommended 5) of the re-mineralization gel. The active ingredient is 1% fluoride and the minty flavor is pleasant. As with the toothpaste, I spit it out after use; I do not rinse or drink anything for at least thirty minutes. The first day, I still had very mild sensitivity and now it is gone completely. I would definitely recommend this product! From my research, I learned that there are special calcium based toothpastes that will actually heal / seal the holes in the dentin, but they are not available OTC in the US yet. (Search Colgate Pro-Argin) Fortunately I will be visiting Canada soon and plan to pick some up. Regardless, I will never whiten again without having this re-mineralization gel on hand.

Effective if used consistently
This remineralization gel works really well, especially when used consistently after teeth whitening treatments. It helps reduce sensitivity and keeps my teeth feeling comfortable after whitening. The gel is easy to apply, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the sensitivity of my teeth after regular use. While it’s not a miracle product, it does deliver solid results if you stick with it. I’d recommend this gel to anyone who’s experienced sensitivity after teeth whitening or who wants to maintain their teeth’s health after treatment
