Perfect tool at the perfect price for the job I was doing
I have three small bushes that need pulling couldn't get my truck in so I hook that new come along up to a tree and I just pulled them right out. I had a problem at first with releasing the cable but a little lubricant spray Houdini and the way I went. I'll find other uses for it but it was worth it just for those three bushes.

Heavy-Duty Come-Along Winch for Reliable Vehicle Recovery
This two-ton capacity come-along winch was exactly what we needed when our truck got stuck. The seven-foot length of pull and strong ratchet mechanism allowed us to apply steady force, freeing the vehicle without straining. The two steel hooks provided secure anchor points, giving us confidence during the entire process. The construction feels solid, and the winch performed well under pressure, handling the load with ease. Having the extra hooks was a nice bonus, making it versatile for different setups. If the pull length were a bit longer, it would add more flexibility for larger recovery operations, but for our needs, this winch is an effective and reliable tool.

Poorly made
I qould say, "you get qhat you pay for", but im finding with everything made now and in past few decades is crap and designed to break. I bought two 4t comealongs. The first just fell apart. The other stoped holding and releasing because everything became loose.Luckily my neighbor had a 50 year old comealong (4t) that still worked like a champ to finish the job.If you still want to try it, i suggest replacing all the pin and E-clips with bolt and nylock nuts. Also replace all standard nuts with nylock. Oil all cogs and moving parts. When you finish using it, please put it in steel recycling bin, not garbage, as we want to not waste the metal again.

Good tool
This one is better than my other one. The tool seems sturdy and the straps are a nice bonus too.

Heavy duty all the way around
The company did not skip on any materials or design on this come along. The metals, hooks, and cables are thick and robust. It has an 8 foot cable to reach out to your project. It came with 2 canvas like straps that I am not sure I would use for anything really heavy. But back to the come along, it has some weight and good to it that it almost broke through the delivery box that it came it. Meeeee like!

Limited to about 4ft. hoist distance
Worked well for the limited hoist distance. Specs show 8ft. Cable, and that’s true, but the maximum hoist range is limited to about 4ft. due to the compound pully design. I used the come along to hoist a very large stag horn fern about 8 feet into an oak tree. The limited hoist travel made this a slow process requiring me to tie off the fern and re-rig the hoist for each lift.

Heavy duty no instructions
The come along seems very strong and well built. However, there are no instructions and the winch feels very stiff.
