Fantastic performance for price.
I've used only Anker Soundcore headphones now for several years. Bloody love 'em.

Great Overall, But Big Sound Difference Between Modes
I’ve been using the Soundcore Liberty 5 earbuds for a few weeks now and overall, they’re a solid pair of earbuds. The design is sleek, the fit is comfortable, and the battery life is impressive. Connectivity is fast and stable, and I really like the companion app with its customizable EQ settings. However, there’s one major downside I’ve noticed: the sound quality changes a lot depending on the mode you’re using. When I have noise cancelling turned on, the music sounds rich, clear, and really impressive quality. But when I switch to normal mode (with ANC off), the sound becomes flat, hollow, and almost tinny. It’s a noticeable drop in quality that makes me avoid using them without noise cancelling. It’s not a total dealbreaker for me, since I mostly use ANC anyway, but it’s definitely something to be aware of. For the price, I expected more consistency across modes.Still, if you plan on using ANC most of the time, these are a great choice.

Superb, but you do need the app to set them up and control them, annoyingly.
Six stars down to five because of the need for the app.The sound quality and noise cancelling really is superb.I tested the NC using different frequencies from a generator and the difference between NC on and off is really noticeable. The touch controls do take some getting used to.There is no volume control set into the earbuds on set up so you need to go into the app and designate vol +/_ to one of the touch combos on either earbud. You can use the app without registering, though it does keep nudging you to do so.I am loath to bother with apps from mediocre products or unknown brand as they are a pain to use vs having the controls on the buds/phones but these are certainly good enough and from a great brand to bother installing it and using it.I'd like to have on/off switches on the buds, as they are always on even if you pop them in your pocket and want to take a call via the phone, as callers have commented that the quality their end is poor via the bud mics.Useful also would be a little Right / Left mark on each.Other irritant is that to set up a bluetooth connection you need the charging box with you.But even despite all of that the sound quality justifies 5 stars.

Great earbuds with effective noise cancelling
Having used a pair of Anker Life P3 headphones for a number of years, was interested to try this set up higher specification Anker buds. The medium tips they came with gave a good fit for me, the headphones connected easily to my phone and tablet. Comfortable when wearing them, no issue with extended use periods. The Soundcore app, which I already had installed, offers more options with these buds, with more control over the sound profiles and some interesting hearing tests. With a bit of tinkering with the settings you can get a good sound, there is also a slightly automated profile setting which you can work through on the app as a starting pointIn my opinion the noise cancelling was noticeably better than the Life P3, really seemed to cut out all the surrounding noise, which is what I need as often wearing them with other noises going on around me.I am not so keen on the backwards sliding lid on the charge case, possibly more likely to break than the hinged lid on the Life P3, I also find that they are slightly more difficult to extract from the case, as they are laid sideways to enable the case profile to be kept low. As a result they don’t lift out so easily.I had always been pleased with the performance of the Life P3s but these are definitely better overall, as you would expect for being several years newer and a higher specification range. Great headphones for the cost.

Excellent!
I was expecting a lot from these earbuds, and having used them for a while now, I can honestly say that I am not disappointed. They are in fact, excellent, in my opinion. The sound is fantastic, especially at higher volumes, and there's a decent amount of bass. The sound can be customised via an app, which I've played about with a little bit, and it's very easy to use. As I type this, I'm listening to some shakuhachi music, and its' beautifully clear. The noise-cancelling is brilliant, too.Pairing with my laptop, TV, and phone was super-easy and instant. Charging is quick, and the batteries seem to last for a long time, too. Build quality seems to be reasonably solid as well. I can't say how well they work for phone calls because that's a function I never use with any earbuds or headphones, so haven't tested it with these. I found the volume controls a bit of a faff at first but I soon got used to them, and to be honest, unless I'm using them while out walking, I can easily change the volume from my phone or laptop. In terms of comfort, this is an area that surprised me because unlike my Galaxy Buds, these really are very comfy. In fact, I can keep them in for several hours, with no pain or fatigue.Overall, I feel that these are very good value for money, and worth the asking price (currently £99.99). In addition, because I got the pink pair, it means that my husband won't 'borrow' them, heheh!

Average earbuds, better out there for less money
Had these for a week, not sure if I'm going to keep them.cons,They feel cheap as does the case, very flimsy slider thing on the case,Sound is a bit flat even using the app, they aren't a patch on my liberty 4s sound wiseThe touch controls aren't great, prefer it without having to press the stem,Battery life isn't what they claimProsThey are very comfy to wear, you can hardly feel them in the earsSound is OK but not great. Not sure if I'll keep these as I'm not too impressed with themThey don't sound, feel or look like a pair of £100 earbuds, liberty 4s are a lot better in my opinion
