Q: Is there any way to remove it without damage?

The best way to remove something affixed with that particular type of adhesive is to heat it up first. Use something like a hairdryer or a heatgun and pull it slowly while heating the area right in front of where you’re pulling. If you take your time you can avoid damaging your door.

Q: My exterior door opens IN and there is carpet on the landing. Will this work or will it get hung up?

You determine what level you attach the draft stopper at so it won’t get hung up. Just make sure you put it at appropriate height. My door opens in over hard wood floors, but I have a rug there and I am fine.

Q: Will it scratch my floor?

No. When you apply it make sure you clear the floor. If not it will rub against the floor and weaken the seal over time.

Q: For patio dog sliding door inserts on your apartment sliding door does this go on the outside? Is it just on the patio sliding door or the entire?

I placed mine on the bottom of the inner side of the kitchen door (kitchen to garage). It works very well. Not sure how it would work for a sliding door. Good luck!
