THIS. DAMN. GAME.
Holey smokes, this game.If you haven't played the base game (Survive: Escape From Atlantis) and aren't going to be playing with 5–6 total players anytime soon, add this item to your wishlist for another date and then go get that. Not to talk down on this at all, it's phenomenal and I'll get to that soon, the thing is that you will find hours and hours of fun in the base game alone and I emplore you to get the most out of that before you try these expansions. Purely from a value perspective, there is much to be gained from the base game alone before looking at this. That being said...If you've played Survive: Escape From Atlantis, then you know what's up. It's a phenomenal game with a tonne of variety game to game. If you are finding though that games are dragging, or you're not wanting to play 6 games in a row, miss your train home in order to play into the wee hours, or tell your boss that you can't come in because a family situation has come up (and if you're playing it with your family, that may well be true), then it might be time to expand.Building on the movement mechanics of the base game, the expansion offers a new way to control non-meeple pieces with a new 'piece-selection' die and a movement die— with a new/modified 'dive' mechanic. This is a brilliant addition and should be in the base game anyway IMHO.Next up (in order of greatness) are the dolphins. This helpful little guys will keep your swimming meeples safe were something to come by that could cause you any damage. A nice little defence buff, plus, they look cute. That leaves us with the Giant Squid(s). If you play your games totally hell-bent on destruction, then you may fall in love with these guys. While they can be annoying with the ability to grab meeples off land and boats, sending them into the void, they also offer a defense against whales as the two have a feud that can only be settled with death.Overall this is a fantastic addition to an already great game for an excellent price to boot. If you want more players, or have thoroughly exhausted the main game, this is a no brainer.

Great expansion for an already awesome game
This expansion not only adds even more variety to the already insane and unpredictability of the main game. But also adds the possibility of been able to play it with even more friends(max 6 total) if you still have any left after playing. It is a cut throat game and if you hold grudges for eons avoid it. Otherwise enjoy this crazy ride full of back stabbing betrayal and trying to outsmart your friends at every turn.

Must have expansion for the base game
Survive Escape from Atlantis is one of my favourite games to play with family and friends. Very easy to teach, very simple, lots of fun and good moments among family and friends. It has the perfect balance between strategy, luck and fun moments. A must have game for light board gamers. This expansion for up to 6 players its a must have for larger groups..........simply love it.

Good extension
Nice add on but at almost the cost of the main game you have to question whether you really need dolphins and squids....strangely it turned out we did (alongside being able to play 5 players)

Great expansion
Strong add on to the game. You get THREE expansions in this pack and can all be used individually if wanted. Refreshes the original game with new enemies and you are forced to think of new strategies.
