Solid plastic base, bowls were standard size and good metal. The base is a little wider and I was initially curious if it would deter the older fellas I got it for, but they seem to be quite fine with it. Added bonus, the lip at the bottom helps keep any dribbles contained (they are 20, they don’t move fast). We have been trying to replace most bowls with raised bowls, while this isn’t as tall as some of the others, it still helps with about an inch of raise and I am cool with that. It’s also a fraction of the price of the ceramic individual bowls, and when I purchased, the price was comparable to the cheaper plastic models.

I needed something that would stay in place. This is perfect. I like that the food that is pushed over the edge of the bowl (my Pippy is so messy) just falls into a trough. It is super easy to clean. It is super sturdy. I was surprised how sturdy considering how inexpensive it is. Bottom line: it’s great quality for the price.

This works exactly as advertised for our dainty little "princess". Our other kitty doesn't have much in the way of table manners and it shows after meal time. The base/tray does manage to catch most of the kibble--I really wish the tray was a little bit wider. That being said, the set is attractive and cleans easily and I'm glad we have it.

My cat finally stopped spilling the water thanks to this. It is small, but there is two bowls and I just use them both for water because I have 3 cats and give them fresh water twice a day anyway. It was cheap and works great. I did put it on a rubber mat so she couldn’t slide it but I haven’t had a problem since I got it.

My cat had a huge issue with constantly spilling his bowls, and with this, he hasn't been able to spill it at all! Tuna was super easy to clean out, it hasn't tilted or spilled on its own and my fat cat hasn't been able to break the plastic holding the bowls. Overall it's the perfect thing to get for cats who like to spill everything.

The set is rather large even thought the bowls are better suited to a small-medium dog. It looks cheaper and less stylish in person. The bowls and holder are separate for easy clean up. It will serve it's purpose.

I was looking for a bowl for my frenchton. He seems to be able to eat out of it with no problems. It doesnt move around my kitchen too much. Very easy to clean. My toddler cant help playing with it and it stands up to her abuse pretty easily.

The dual dish is easy to clean as the inserts come out for the wash. The holder is sturdy, and the bowls have enough room for a healthy meal. Good quality and happy with the purchase.
