I let it brew for 12 or more hours. I like cold coffee so it comes in handy when you want coffee and need to get out the door.

Love this cold brew maker. I use half the recommended amount of coffee for a batch, otherwise it brews a very strong cold brew concentrate. Not too bad to clean. Cleaning a cold brew maker is always a mess, but this one isn't too bad. Makes enough coldbrew for a week in one batch. Would recommend and buy again.

We love having concentrated coffee ready to go for iced, or even hot, when in a hurry.

I purchased this cold brew coffee make on 6/22 and I thought it was great. Was using it like a champ until I went to make a batch and it started to leak all over the counter at around the 2 hour mark. I thought perhaps someone had moved it and jiggled the piece that allows it to drip in to your lovely jar. So I cleaned up the mess and left the kitchen and my husband came to me about a half hour later alerting me to the coffee on the counter (again).Obviously, something was askew and since I had the product less than 4 weeks I wrote to the company to see about an exchange.You not only have to find this crazy sticker (there isn't one) and send your receipt (which was fine because I have my amazon receipt) but I also have to take a video showing the leak or pictures of the leak. So I'm going to have to go through 12 oz of coffee and wait until it leaks so I can show a video of the leak on the counter or take pictures.I mean why can't they believe me? It's been 4 weeks - not 4 month - not 4 years. And I don't want my money back - I'll send you back this one if you send me a new one. I'm going back and forth with customer service on this.Save the drama - go with another brand. While I loved it, it's not worth the hassle. I think their new tag line should be "You'll be Grim if you go with Brim!"

Cold brew systems are so frustrating. As a family that is trying hard to avoid ingesting microplastics, I thought that I finally nailed it with Brim, but... nope.I'd been under the impression that Brim was a fully borosilicate glass system, so I'm sad to report that the Brim brewing bucket is made of plastic and that the filter is also synthetic. I was also sad to learn that my 100% wool filters from Filtron did not fit in place of the Brim's synthetic filter.Cold brewing is just such an acidic process that it's exactly the worst time to rely on plastics. And it's also too bad that all those glass + stainless steel mesh strainer systems consistently clog. An effective, 100% plastic-free cold brew system apparently doesn't yet exist on the market. Bizarre, really.Anyway, for those seeking a plastic-free cold brew solution, I highly recommend my latest hack: cold brewing in your own glass or stainless steel vessel/pot with a 100% unbleached cotton nut milk straining bag holding the grounds. It drains faster than any of these systems with pad filters (Toddy, Filtron, Brim) after a quick squeeze... and you can finally know that your coffee won't leech any chemicals or microplastics during processing.

Simple to use. Be careful when stirring the grounds in the water. I lifted up the filter so had to stick my hand in the coffee water to place it back in. Recommend brewing for the full 24 hours. Makes pretty good homemade cold brew which saves money.

This makes the perfect cold brew! I love this system! So easy to use and clean! I love how quickly ot empties into the carafe! So easy to use!
