The battery is compact and doesn't weigh too much. The pocket for it is far enough to the side so that it doesn't interfere with the pocket for your hand. I ordered larger than I needed because I like it roomy and might have wanted to wear a sweatshirt under it. But turns out that the heating is so effective that I don't have to. You can really feel the heat, and altho it's got 3 settings, I've tended to use the highest, which makes it nice and warm. I thought my arms would be chilly, but there's velcro at the sleeve endings that can be adjusted to keep the heat in. If I have anything that I'm not perfectly happy with, it's the hood. The hood's too large for my liking and doesn't have a drawstring to adjust it a bit. That, along with an extra pocket for a cell phone would be the only areas for improvement. This is a great coat!

My wife is one of those people who's always running a little bit cold. I saw a friend wearing this jacket a little bit before Christmas and asked about it. The friend said that she loved it, that it really was warm, and how much she liked the heated pockets for when her hands got cold. I decided to get it as a last minute Christmas gift for my wife.We got a chance to test it, ending up in an area with sub-freezing temperatures at night. She said it was amazing and it kept her nice and warm while she was wearing it, even when we went out to walk to look at Christmas lights.Since then, the only thing we've run into is that the battery life on high is about as advertised, but that charging the battery takes slightly longer than how long it takes to discharge on high. On the plus side, extra batteries are lightweight and not all that expensive, around $45 a pop, so we got some extras and keep them charged as well.I was a little skeptical about this but my friend convinced me to get it and my wife tells me she loves it.

The battery makes the left side a little heavy, the pocket isn’t very big so you can’t move the battery much. The sizing is a little off I think. I originally got a medium but with the battery it was a little too tight, and the shoulders were narrow. The sleeves are long-but I like that, the opening though is really big. It has Velcro the tighten it but you have to fold the cuff lengthwise to make the strap work and look ok. I got a large later and think the shoulders are still narrow- if you don’t have broad shoulders it won’t be a problem at all. Overall very warm even without the heat turned on. Battery seems to last well too. If you’re on the fence, I would buy it.

Super warm, love the hand warmer and the slim fit. I did remove the yellow patch though so it doesn’t look mall copish.

I've bought 3 of these jackets! One for my mom, one for my mother-in-law and one for my wife. They love them! My son plays ice hockey and it keeps the ladies in my life toasty warm in the hockey rinks. They're not the most femine looking jackets, but my wife will bedazzle and "girl it up" as she says. All 3 love them as their big ticket Christmas gift!

I do like the coat a lot but notice 2 things. 1. Doesn't get as hot as my vest even on the highest setting and the battery pack gets a lot hotter. Don't know if that is an issue or not yet, but will update if it becomes an issue.

Awesome jacket! Size was great, battery lasts longer than my milwaukee and ny wife really enjoys being warm and loves the hand warmers!

Great jacket. The battery lasts on high with both the hand warmers and the other elements for about 2 hours.I purchased a size medium and I wear a size 6/8 (US) top. The jacket itself is plenty warm for walking in -9c with just a sweater in underneath.The hood is a great size (I like them a little bigger so it shields my face in winter blizzards)I will let you know how the jacket holds up to Manitoba winters!

this jacket is the best of the heated gear we purchased for our staff. from the packaging to the material to overall build quality surpassed expectations. the battery provided is large and can be used to charge your phone as well as the jacket. heated back, chest, and... pockets! separate buttons to control heating zones of pocket is very useful. only disappointment would be the fit for some but as usual i size up when ordering the unknown brands and this XL ended up fitting like a L. the jacket material is very thick. definitely can be used with just a t-shirt underneath in the winter. very happy staff.

I love this jacket and should have purchased sooner. I work at a school and due to covid am spending alot of time outside with the cooler weather this jacket has been a life saver - I love that I can control the heat setting with a push of the button located on the front. The pocket warmers was one of the reasons I chose this jacket over some of the others they work really well. The battery location could be a bit higher so that if I use it on my motorcycle it isn't hitting my hip area when I sit. I purchased a medium and the fit was good, not too tight so I can put a sweater on underneath when it gets to -30 C. Highly recommend!

The elements really don't get that warm.....I'm really puzzled by the reviews on this product because I've been using this coat for over a month now and it's okay but it's not as good as everybody seems to rave it is.I'd probably spend a little bit more money to get a better brand. I may even return it because it really is disappointing

Man does my wife love this jacket and I’m really impressed with the style and quality of it as well. Way nicer then everything else I looked at for her in the stores. Price was even half of what most places wanted for there work style junk jackets. My wife couldn’t be happier while tobogganing with our boys. I bought extra battery packs for it but haven’t really had to use them yet as the batteries last a few hrs on low and keep her toasty!
