What I love most about this is that when you pull the pin the alarm stays with you. My other one is the other way around - the pin stays with you and the alarm separates. That always felt backwards to me, yet it seems most of them are made that way. This alarm is also louder than the first one I bought.I got one of these after being harassed by a group of teenage boys at the park with my kids and then followed to my car. It was a humiliating experience and I felt powerless. It was at a secluded park and no one else was there. I called 911 and a cop came and the boys walked off like nothing happened and the cop thought I was exaggerating. I don't know that they would have done anything, but it was a little scary. I think a little device like this is just enough to ward off opportunistic trouble makers.

It was unusually small although it looked larger online. However, most pepper sprays are small so it allows you to conceal it in your hand. This is so the perpetrator can not easily grab it out of your hand. So this is good, but it was unexpected. The light is very bright too. I like it.

Not practical on a daily basis, but could come in handy in an emergency if I can find it when I need it and remember how to use it.Very Loud. We bought two in case one did not work for us -- and both are pretty extreme. good price

i bought two of these . for my daughter and i ..they are VERY loud . and can easly be heard out in public , in a city with lots of noise !i highly recommend this .

Got it way before I expected it opened it looked at it and pulled the string and I can tel you my was were raddled for like 15 minutes a must buy for your loved one

REALLY loud, louder than other 140 decibel alarms that I bought off Amazon. And more compact and inconspicuous.

Got this for myself and my daughter who just turned 11. Received it weeks earlier then expected delivery time. Plus it is really loud when we tested it.

Noise level good. Easy to use and won't fall off your key ring as the pull cord is on the side. Not like the previous one I purchased which was attached to the key ring itself so if you knocked it by accident it dropped off. Previous on spent my time picking it up from the ground. Excellent buy. Will be back again.

I bought one for my daughter and one for myself but wanted to test it first to see if it worked and yes it did. The noise is very loud so would make any attacker halt for the few seconds that it would take you to get away or to attract someone over to help. Nicely fits into the palm of your hand. The light is a bonus too. It is important to check that they work as one was very very loud while the other was not loud enough so must need new batteries which I will replace. On the whole very good and hope that we will never need to use them. One other point is that I have cats, dogs and horses so before I tested the device I made sure that I was locked in a room well away from any animals as it would spook horses or hurt cats/dogs ears.

I bought this to replace an old personal alarm. The alarm sound is very loud,but don’t worry it won’t sound unless you pull the cord. The torch light is handy too. Delivery was very quick. Happy with my purchase.

The product took a long time to come but I expected that due to current circumstances.It comes quite compact and easy to carry, easy to follow instructions and user friendly.
