Good versatility with some caveats
I bought this set for general mounting/attaching purposes, but my primary reason for purchasing was to be able to use the 1/4" female-to-3/8" female adapter (the big barrel-shaped piece) as a mounting stud to attach a lighting boom to the top of an old tripod. There's a lot of shear (sideways) force applied to the stud in this configuration, as well as there needing to be a lot of force applied in tightening the screw from the boom into the stud. The attached photos show the less-than-stellar performance of this soft-metal adapter used in this way. The kit will have plenty of uses for me going forward (though the quality of the cutting on the threads I received is not particularly smooth), so for the money, this is still a useful set of adapters to have. But I will hopefully be able to find a much more robust solution than this for a light boom mounting scenario.

mixed utility: some bad, some good
As the vendor points out, the components are made of differing metals: a couple brass, many stainless steel, and then some longer, dumbbell shaped pieces that are made out of aluminum. The latter is probably a bad idea. My first assembly (to attach a gimbal head to a tripod) used one of the aluminum dumbbell shaped pieces. When I tightened things up to snug things together, I could feel the threads in the aluminum piece strip out; the aluminum is just too much softer than stainless steel. So, the head just rotate freely, no matter what (it couldn't be tightened). What was troubling was that I wasn't using all that much force in tightening things; hadn't even gotten to the point at which I would have been confident that the tripod head wouldn't be swinging around on its own. So, I think the aluminum pieces (of which there are many) are fairly useless in the real world, since they're so much weaker/softer than the other components. On the other hand, I was able to put together a nice assembly using one of the two brass pieces, and a 1/4 --> 3/8" thread adapter. So, most of this set is okay, but the aluminum dumbbell pieces didn't work for me. Better to lose the aluminum pieces and put in more brass pieces.

Nicely machined and clean
"Camera screws" assortment.Exactly as pictured. All parts were well machined, clean and sharp. No burrs or rough edges. All parts were bored straight and threaded true (no holes or threads misaligned). As stated, the extenders are aluminum with 1/4" 20 female threads on one end and 3/8 female on the other end. All other parts are stainless steel and just as well made. The two brass converters are...well, brass...with one having a 1/4" female and 3/8" male and the other a 3/8" female and 1/4" male thread; also nicely machined. I'm quite impressed with the quality and see no reason not to give them a full five stars, since you receive exactly what is described and shown and the quality is quite good.

Almost great
I like this product but I won’t put a monitor on it. With batteries the monitor can be to heavy for the product. But for my phone, lights and rode mic it’s great

Worked for what we needed!
I mean I don’t know why “warmth” and “thickness” are categories for this review- but what I can say is that we found the adapter we needed to mount an iPad to a mic stand. We did order an additional adapter for this, the additional adapter was $3.90- but we did need one from this set as well, so yeah, keeping them and very happy. We got the thickness and warmth we were looking for?

Works but the "photos" are deceptive
The screws fit together. I think I can still use the pack, but not as I was expecting to or as well.None of the "photos" show these to scale!!!The 2 pcs 1/4" to 3/8" male to female brass screw are made to look longer and wider than they are. The 2 pcs 1/4" to 3/8" male to female brass screws screwed together (not including the extending screw) are 7/8 inches long and 1/4 inch shorter than one silver 1/4" female to 3/8" female screw adapter which is 1-1/8 inches . Both the brass and silver are the same width at 5/8 inches. The walls on both the silver and brass 3/8" female sides are far thinner than shown in the photos as well.

This was a waste of money which I've found entirely unusable.
The adjustable mount broke the first time I used it.The 3/8" inserts are a cheap pot metal which get stuck and then strip when you try to remove them. The thread pitchs don't align property which means when fully tightened the items on both ends of these screws don't align. It makes it impossible have accessories rest straight or in line with everything else. And lastly, the center studs are aluminum, which isn't bad except the 1/4" and 3/8" are a plated steel. When steel and aluminum are in contact for extended time they have a chemical reaction and start to corroded.I don't know of there's a better alternative out there but I'd recommend trying to find it. This was a waste of money which I've found entirely unusable.

Good selection of parts to build up your rig.
I thought that when it arrived I didn't get all the pieces but the adapters are on the 1/4" screws. So make sure to check before you're stupid like me and think you didn't get all the pieces. I'm using it to mount my Pluto trigger and other devices to my L bracket. The spacers make it easy to move the trigger out and position in a better place freeing up your hot shoe mount.
