Perfect for my Fujitsu mini split
Easy to setup and worked perfectly out of the box. Followed the easy to understand instructions. Now I can control my Fujitsu mini split from my phone from anywhere. Perfect for turning on my mini split when I start home. Highly recommended.

This unit will save you on energy cost.
I had installed a Westinghouse 3 1/2 ton Mini Split unit inside my 30ftx40ft garage with 12ft. ceilings. The unit was controlled by an hand held remote with really no functions other than on/off and temperature settings. I researched Smart Controllers that could operate my model of mini split and mainly due to a lower cost I chose the Cielo Breez ECO. I am glad I did. The install took about 2 or 3 minutes (took longer to install the unit in ceiling (see picture). The ECO controls the mini split using a Smart Phone App or WEB based app. There are many features and settings via the app and as such the Breez ECO is really saving me on energy cost because the remote unit that came with Mini Split does not provide the features that the Breez ECO has. However, a product is also as good as the support that is provided. If you have a question you call the provided support phone number and within less than a minute you are talking to a live person...period. Tell me the last time you called a support number only to go through a series of IVR questions and then you are lucky to actually talk to a real person. Again, not with the Cielo product...every time I called with a question I was talking to a live person in less than a minute. I highly recommend this product you will not be disappointed.

Didn't quite work, but support is great
Didn't quite work with my Daikin minisplits because of some extra features my units have that these things would always mis-program (so my unit would be blasting air straight down sometimes). Their support was great and the devices were all easy to use and program and for less-complicated systems, it'll probably work great, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars, it just didn't work for my situation.

I have several Cielo controllers installed in my home with Fujitsu mini-splits. They are easy to install and much less expensive than the similar controllers you can buy from Fujitsu. Most of the reasons I purchased and installed the Cielo controllers are mentioned in other reviews so I will not list them all again here. I will say they are easy to use at home or while away home and all satisfy most owners requirements for an A/C controller. The Comfy mode and program scheduling may not be obvious when you first set them up, but take time to understand how they work if you want to take full advantage of the controllers' functionality. The Alexa integration works as advertised, but be aware than sometimes Alexa misunderstands a request as a Cielo request when you meant to turn on/off something else. That's actually an Alexa issue and not a Cielo issue. Also, note that the controller does not sync with your Fujitsu remote. So if you change a setting using the Fujitsu remote then that change will not be reflected in the Cielo app or the Cielo controller. My advice is that once you install the Cielo controllers, put away the original remotes, although that might not be workable if you have someone in your home who prefers using the Fujitsu handheld remote versus the app.The app is relatively easy to use and it is your only option if you are not using a controller with controls physically on the controller. I have both types, but use the app for all of my controllers, but it is helpful to be able to glance at the controller and see the current status without opening the app. Finally, you can place the controller wherever you like as long as the transmitters on the controller can reach the mini-split unit. There are several transmitters on each controller. However, the room temperature will reflect the temperature where the until is located which may be hotter or colder than the actual temperature where you are sitting if it is a large room. However, the same is true for temperature sensors in the mini-split which usually are not located where most room occupants are in the room. So you may have to set the set point up or down to get the actual room temperature you want. For most of the Fujitsu mini-splits you can set the thermostat in each mini-split to actually set the temperature low or higher than the actual room temperature. For example if you need to set the mini-split to 78 to get a room temperature of 75, you can set the mini-split to automatically do this so that when you set the temperature to 75, the mini-split actually is set to 78. This may be true for other mini-splits as well.I highly recommend the Cielo controllers. The only real decision is which controller best meets your requirements.
