My mom, who had beautiful skin all her life, used Pond's Cold Cream every day. After spending a great deal on expensive cleansers over the years, I decided to give this classic, and inexpensive, makeup remover a try. I used it for the first time last night, and it left my skin squeaky skin yet hydrated - even plumper! I simply massaged it into my skin then wiped it off with a clean washcloth. Usually, I follow cleanser with a toner to make sure every speck of makeup is gone. After using Pond's, I used some toner on a cotton ball and it came away completely clean, yet my face didn't feel dry. I think another plus is that it is oil-based. I live in Arizona, and my older skin can easily get dehydrated. I swear my skin, after just one use, already looks more moisturized and supple. So all these years I've been using "fancy" cleansers when this was available all along. I love finding cost-effective and simple skin care options!

I read previous reviews and I was influenced. I will never not buy this, it works perfectly, takes your makeup right off and is super hydrating. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin.

I like the fact that it is unscented. Yes, it's greasy - that's what it takes to get greasy sunblock and makeup off. Takes off waterproof eye make up. It should be considered step 1 of a 2-step cleansing. After tissuing off the Ponds, I use a gentle cleanser on a sponge. Takes everything off without irritating my sensitive skin.

This is a must have. To melt makeup off. Great on my pocket book.

Going back to an old school product, works so good taking off my makeup even mascara. And my skin never feels dry when I take my makeup off with ponds. And a jar last a long time and it doesn’t break the bank.

Back to basics. I used this as a teen and didn’t appreciate it. But now in my 40’s with aging skin, sensitive eyes and hyperpigmentation I have tried so many facial cleansers and they either dry my skin or hurt my eyes. Ponds sensitive is making my skin so soft and glowy, plus aiding in clearing dark spots (along with use of the dr dennis grossman redlight mask daily). I used to AHA and other harsher topicals, but this feels gentle and works well. The price tag is also unbeatable.I have mixes race complexion- black and white combined. Not acne prone with medium hyperpigmentation.

Ponds is the best face cream I have used, removes makeup and moisturizes, you don't need alot to wash the day off, and a good value.
