iSonic Ultrasonic Denture/Aligner/Retainer Cleaner for All Dental and Sleep apnea appliances (F3900)

I am giving this 5 stars and will update if needed in the future.6/23 I REALLY appreciate legit reviews with pictures and videos so I am making an effort to review more to help others. Lots of folks post about these ultrasonic machines using relatively new Invisalign-type retainers which just isn’t going to compare to a night guard or multiple-year-old retainer. I read hundreds of reviews before deciding on this one and forgoing a used professional dentist-grade machine on eBay. The negative first: I don’t LOVE that I can’t remove the tank to drain and rinse but I won’t ding them for that unless it becomes an issue later. Positives: relatively small realty space, quiet, easy to use, seems to do the job. My guard is almost 3 years old and has darkening stains in the molars especially. I typically brush it with a toothbrush, a scant amount of toothpaste and cool water. I used all the retainer powder provided and did 4 cycles. The first two cycles I used the retainer powder provided. I gave it a 10-15 min break her the instructions to cool down then ran it two more times using half of a retainer brite tablet each time. I’m super impressed. Hard to tell via images but it did VERY well removing the darkened spots almost completely. I’m sure repeated use will get the job done entirely.

I use this daily with teeth aligners, no longer do they smell terrible like my first rack did. Mind you, I only have them for a week at a time. Despite using this on a bathroom counter with easy sink access, I decided to try dissecting the tub, based on other reviews. I discovered that the tub is now hard wired in, so please don’t bother attempting if you buy this after 2024. This new design should help with the issue some had where water degrades the contacts, since it’s now wired. I should probably caulk the gap now though.Edit: this thing is AMAZING for cleaning tooth brushes, can’t believe I’ve been going my whole life changing every few months, never again!

I used this product for six (6) months after purchase and everything was going smoothly until about a week ago when I plugged it in and after about 15 seconds the machine short-circuited and there was a burning smell. I quickly unplugged the device and inspected it to see if water was on the cord or plug and confirmed that it was as dry as a bone. I then followed up with Amazon to see if any other people had such issues and found out that the product was defective. Amazon provide me with the manufacturer's phone number and email (Phone: (847) 850-0404 Email: info@isonicinc.com) and I followed up with them directly. Right away I was met with hostility, which was alarming because I actually really liked the product and notice that it did make a difference in cleaning my MRD that I use for sleep apnea. Nevertheless, I informed them that I just want to replace the product for another as this model is obviously defective; the gentleman on the phone became argumentative and said that there's no way that the product is defective. Rather than argue with him I asked if I could just ship the product to them so they can inspect it. The representative on the phone told me that I would have to pay for the shipping to the manufacturer. As I'm an Amazon Prime member and am accustomed to Amazon providing pre-paid shipping labels for product returns I asked if the manufacturer would be doing the same. The representative's response was a vociferous "No." I then asked why the policy is different than Amazon's and he said that I should talk to Amazon about it and he then swiftly hung up on me. I've never had such terrible service in my entire life and I will never make any purchases from this manufacturer ever again.
