Easy and Reliable
When you start using PTZ cameras you don't realize at first how important the ptz controller is. A friend told me about this one and I got it a while back. What I mostly liked is how easy it was for me to set it up and the POE feature, so no need to use the power supply. I added a sticker with the permanent IP address for easy reference since I also use streamdeck in companion and I can call presets with it, so with just a click of a button I recall presets. Screen helps a lot to know whats happening when you dont have an external monitor. So far so good, I take it everywhere I do livestreams and podcasts, haven't had an issue with it and support responds fast when you have a question.

Great PTZ controller with lots of extras
This is an excellent device, and even better when you consider the price. This unit has features that are not available on the more expensive products. Out of the box, i plugged it into a POE router and connected to a Muxlab PTZ camera with Cat6 cable, and had immediate connection after clicking search ip from the screen on the controller. I love the fact that there is a built-in 5in LED screen which also shows the image from the PTZ camera. Not many controllers have this feature included. The unit is small, compact but full featured. I have an Aida and Avipas controllers that cost more than double the price, and they don't have the features that the Hsility has. Also seems to be pretty solid construction and should survive in the road case. Also love the preset pattern and patrol where you can pre-program camera joystick moves/speed and tilt/zoom patterns.

If u have more than one camera dont get this one
Why did you pick this product vs others?:It can only connect to one camera. It disconnected from my second camera the moment i tried to control the first. Had to get a different brand.

SURPRISINGLY GOOD, DESPITE OTHER REVIEWS
I bought this thinking it was a gamble and would most certainly have some disappointments. If this is your first PTZ controller, you may be frustrated at how to set it up. If you have owned PTZ controllers in the past, you may say this one is on the cheap side, primarily in the build quality. I say neither - it is worth considering this, especially if you are installing it in a fixed setting like a concert hall, church or auditorium. For the price, this unit does everything I need to control several PTZ cameras from one control point. The joystick is not as smooth as other models I have operated but works well enough to get the job done. The product is a bit on the "Plasticky" side which makes it lightweight, but confidence is low on it surviving a fall.If you need a PTZ controller with an Ethernet connection and not those fancy RS422 or other specialized connectors, this is your best option on Amazon right now. The unit works well when you remember to set up your camera too. There are settings in your camera you will most likely need to turn on before being able to connect the controller to your cameras. So far, I have used this as a direct connection and have not tried to route it through an ethernet switch, although I can't imagine there would be any issues, as long as the correct IP addresses are used. Overall, I have been impressed with this unit which cost almost half of what other controllers sell for on Amazon. I am glad I won this gamble. Very satisfied so far. Recommend. I am giving this a 4 star because there is always room for improvement, especially in build quality and joystick precision.

Did what it needed to, and very impressive for the money
This controller worked surprisingly well for the money, and compared to other more expensive ones. I paired this with a Chameye PTZ 20x NDI camera. It powered on with PoE, although it included a power supply. Note: the on/off switch does not work with PoE: it's only ON. Setting the camera was intuitive enough: search, use joystick to locate camera, check the box, add. I had default user/pass for camera. Note: our network also had some comcast dome cameras and this found those first. So my ptz camera ended up being "Cam 3". While it defaulted to being unable to display camera 1 (because i wasn't going to use that or cam 2), it showed no device connected. Hit "Cam" button, then 3, it connected right up and displayed. BAM! Easy. It immediately synced up with my pre-programmed positions, and it was easy to set new ones. In the basic menu, under system, i was able to disable the beeping sounds accompanying each button press, which is very important when you don't want this interrupting the service. The built in web ui has almost no features at all, but they aren't really needed. It would be nice to be able to simply hit "1" "2" "3" etc. to get to the correct position, but instead you must hit CALL PRESET -> # -> ENTER each time, for each position. CALL HOME goes to position 0. Setting your positions are just as easy: SET PRESET -> # -> ENTER.Will buy again!

Had some issues with mine after a while
It's been a couple of months since I have been using it. For the most part it's ok, but the insides of the 4d Joystick on my unit recently broke into pieces during normal use. To be clear, the outside looks good, but I can hear that the inside was broken and little bits of the interior rattling inside. Can't use the twist function to zoom in and out anymore without it going crazy. I thought I could find a replacement part but no luck there either. Part replacement and repair is a major issue if the goal to use this for the long term.
